Problem details: sometimes after I alt tab or go on another window osu starts scrolling down on its own until I restart the game, idk if there is another cause for this issue but its been happening for at least a year

Have you tried disconnecting any controllers you might have connected?

I thought about it then I remembered I don't have a controller

If you have a number pad make sure that none of the keys are sticking. Or you can just turn off the number pad and see if that helps.

I checked and none of the keys are sticking
edit: also disabling the keypad won't fix it cuz I had the same issue with my TLK keyboard
