Problem details:
so i had the exact problem this person had community/forums/topics/1137426?n=1,
to which I couldn't fix so I resorted to reinstalling the game and now I have a bigger problem, when I run the installer it says "An error occured, please check your internet connection" its been like this for a few days and ive played multiple online games and they all run fine.
