Taiko BEATMAPPING

Dear all or something like that

HOW do I make a TAIKO BEATMAP for any pre-existing song?? I'm really REALLY desperate to make one, and dont bother shouting at me about this being answered before, I'm not someone who knows this thing very well. :roll: :roll:

For starters you can't submit it to any already ranked one, you gotta try to find on your own an mp3 of the song so you can add it to osu!.
For Taiko specific beatmaps you set the game mode to taiko in Song Setup.
Afterwards its Normal notes = dons (red), whistle/clap = katsus (blue), Finishes = big notes.

Also dont forget all rules for mapping apply, so make sure your beatmap is timed correctly and it follows the song pretty well, and you still need some osu!Standard diffs if you want it to get ranked.

Also your map needs to follow the Ranking Criteria: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=439
