They say writing down your goals helps make them a reality.
So lets share where we want to see ourselves in Mania in a week or two and see if it comes true!

For added bonus, come back after those those two weeks and share if you were successful, then maybe make a new goal.

I've been going hard practicing my LN skills lately, since they're pretty far behind my Rice skills.

So i'm going to start with a simple 2-week goal:
Improve my LN skills enough so I can consistantly do the following--
Achieve 95%+ on Lagtrain (CS' Insane)
Achieve 90%+ on Rainy Boots (Motionless)
Achieve 92.5%+ on Hysteric Night Girl
Also maybe improve my speed a bit in the meantime as a bonus.
I'm not at a skill level where I should really be worrying about Rank/PP so i'll leave those out of my Goals.

Progress after Two Weeks:

Lagtrain (CS' Insane) - Success (Up from 91.16%)
Rainy Boots (Motionless) - Success (Up from 84.44%)
Hysteric Night Girl - Close but no cigar (Up from 88.71%)

Still great progress, and I'm definitely significantly more comfortable with songs I thought were pretty fast previously.

As for a new two-week goal:

Relax a bit. Take a bit of time to play some other games while still maintaining some Osu-Mania warmup time. Now that Hades 2 is announced, I should probably go and finish the first game already.

didn't do any goals since my keyboard came late and was having LN issues but i fixed it. Not gonna pull another session but I did get close to some stuff. 150BPM Chordjacks S rank. 97% on volcanic 0.9x. Aquaris (Delta) S rank. Future Dominators 1.2x 98%

Yeah, many of them aren't easy (I actually still havent S ranked Origami yet either, but its good practice for LN Release). Star Ratings on LN maps lie more than usual because they don't need Density to be difficult.

If you're struggling with Hold/Release finger independence, LN Training can help build that up a bit (preferably starting at first difficulty).
It's all Inverse maps though, so it won't help you with standard patterns, just finger independence.
Also use ScoreV2 if you aren't already. Being able to tell how accurately you're hitting the Start/Ends of LN notes is unbelievably useful.

I've basically spent an entire month going from where you are with LNs to where I am now, so I can't say it's a quick, or easy, process. Just kinda have to push through it day by day.

Thanks for the advice, I've actually seen the LN training thing on your favorite beatmaps and its really hard but its actually kinda fun in its own way. Also seeing your 95% on lag train insane is a very great achievement that I can hopefully have one day lol

Get better in jacks at general (Flower Dance 97%+, etc)
And 5th clear too, the last time I got to a higher dan is my exact birthdate 🗿 (May 7th, it was the 4th one)

Went way overboard and got 98pp in one day.

Next goal would probably be to get 98.5 or something on LN11.
And perhaps get 95 on gamma inverse.

My improvement was about the same rate.

Also since its been 2 weeks since my last "Goal".
I guess I technically took it easy? I didn't have time to play other games though since i've been busy with a major project, and that might continue for another few months.

So I guess my next 2 week goal is keep inching up the 4* rankings. I'm starting to get used to some 4.1* speeds, so i'm just gonna keep that up.
Maybe find time to set up a Multiplayer Lobby or two so I can get some new beatmaps in that range. I've been so busy that I haven't had a chance to multi in a long time.

havent tried volcanic or future dominators. I got 11th LN Dan today so woohoo. Havent attempted delta jack. I got a 95.98 on Empress Delta cut so i can prob do the full version. i forgot if i meant the full or cut version here. VIS::Cracked so close. why did i set SS 10 5 stars ???. I did get a 1,000,000 tho

And 5th clear too, the last time I got to a higher dan is my exact birthdate 🗿 (May 7th, it was the 4th one)
Ironically I didn't get 97 in Flower Dance, but... (Keep in mind this is the 2nd attempt, the 1st is 91.7% with NF)

Setting up a new, actual 2 week goal:

I noticed that I have a severe lack of LN maps between 4* - 4.5*
So I found and downloaded a huge 6gig zip of LN beatmaps.

My 2 week goal is to sort through that LN zip all while improving my LN skills.

get into 4dm team for USA and make it past qualifiers and make it past sol3 qualifiers tbh, idk how much I'll be able to work on improving besides getting good acc for tournaments so I'll leave it at that

Well, I finally finished sorting through that massive LN pack.
Actually had to delete a lot because there was a significant amount of 0-OD hybrid maps, which... kinda ruins the point of using them to improve.
Still, got a lot of new LN maps littered all the way from 1* to 12* so that should keep my skills balanced.

And on the plus side, I finally managed to S-Rank Origami.

Now back to the improvement grind.

Great Success this week:

For the first time, i finally managed to beat <3 - Moe Shop unmodded.

I mean I only got an 88% but this beatmap has been kicking my butt since I first started Osu!Mania.
I consider this a huge milestone for me.

closer to 50k rank now, galaxy collapse pass maybe, decent at ln (still cant do inverse) everything else still to do
