Yes I copy all of the special features of the person who I copied except my alignment goes to mafia/town depending on what the alignment is on the person I copied
I don't figure out exactly what the alignment is on the guy I copied but I only know that I get the opposite at the end. And I can't copy someone else if my first copy is successful until I get lynched.

I believe what he's saying is that he appears to be the opposite faction. So say he copies a Townie Cop. He would appear to be mafia for any sane person that investigated him, or when he is lynched.
