WELCOME TO PIWO CUP 2022 - THE FIRST POLISH MAPPING CONTEST
The only requirement to participate in the contest is a polish flag on your osu! profile (or the ability to prove that you are indeed polish - more in detail can be found in the rules section).
The contest is in a single elimination ladder format, which might be preceded by qualifiers first if needed.
The main reward in the contest is 1 month of osu!supporter for the winner.
The first round of the contest will begin on November 1st (1.11), then each mapping and judging round lasts 1 week (2 weeks for a round to be mapped and judged).
Sign ups will be open until October 31st (31.10).

WERSJA POLSKA REGULAMINU
- Turniej składa się z jednej lub dwóch faz (w zależności od tego ile zapisze się uczestników, więcej poniżej)
- W konkursie mogą brać udział tylko użytkownicy którzy mają flagę POLSKI na stronie osu! (lub są w stanie potwierdzić swoją polskość, po więcej pisać do @hanabyte )
- Kradzież istniejących map jest karana WYKLUCZENIEM z turnieju (tutaj chodzi głównie o kradnięcie całych sekcji i inne ekstremalne przypadki)
- Jeżeli nie możesz zarejestrować się/wysłać mapy przez Google Forms - skorzystaj z innej usługi hostingowej (np. Google Drive albo Mediafire) i wyślij wiadomość do @hanabyte
- Jeżeli na turniej zapisze się liczba zawodników inna niż 2, 4, 8 lub 16; albo gdy liczba zapisanych zawodników jest większa niż 16, to następuje faza Battle Royale podczas której liczba uczestników zostanie wyrównana do najmniejszej liczbie wymienionej powyżej (np. zapisuje się 10 osób, wtedy następuje runda Battle Royale, po której zostaje 8 osób a 2 z najgorszym wynikiem zostają wyeliminowane
- W wypadku gdy liczba zawodników wynosi już 2, 4, 8 lub 16 konkurs przechodzi w format drabinki pojedynczej eliminacji- pary drabinkowe zostają rozłożone losowo (albo zostaje wykorzystany seeding na podstawie wyników w rundzie eliminacyjnej)
- Każdy z uczestników zawsze mapuje jedną, tą samą piosenkę jak inni uczestnicy - korzystamy z .osz które pojawi się w karcie osz
- Ze względu na cierpliwość uczestników - długość mapy którą należy wysłać będzie wydłużać się z każdą rundą:
Eliminacje Battle Royale: 30-45 sekundRound of 16: 45-60 sekund
Round of 8: 60-90 sekund
Ćwierćfinały: 90-120 sekund
Półfinały: 120-150 sekund
Wielki finał: 150 sekund lub więcej
- Nagrodą w konkursie jest 1 miesiąc osu! supportera dla zwycięzcy

- Każdy uczestnik zostanie oceniony przez każdego członka jury w kategoriach nastepujacych kategoriach:
Spójność (30%) - jak mapa realizuje swoje założenia i jak ich się trzyma?
Kreatywność (30%) - jak bardzo nieszablonowa jest mapa? czy jest czymś nowym
Jakość (30%) - jak od strony technicznej i wizualnej prezentuje sie dana mapa? czy posiada pełne hitsoundy?
Wrażenie - (10%) - jak subiektywnie danemu członkowi jury podoba się dana mapa?
-Każda kategoria będzie oceniana w skali od 1-10
- Każdy uczestnik musi wysłać swoją mapę na czas - w innym wypadku następuje dyskwalifikacja
- Rejestracje i wysyłanie map odbędzie się przez Google Forms (link na kanale links)
- Piosenki wybierane są za porozumieniem organizatora ( @hanabyte ) i sędziów
- Każda runda będzie trwać tydzień - w tym czasie należy wysłać skończoną mapę z hitsoundami (nie dotyczy fazy Battle Royale) (obszar w którym należy mapować będzie oznaczony w edytorze za pomocą bookmarków/zakładek)
- Sędziowanie każdej rundy będzie trwać około 1 tyg.
- Obowiązuje ZAKAZ zmieniania tła, metadanych i innych rzeczy które nie wpływają na samą mapę (można zmieniać Circle Size, AR, etc.)
- Wszystkie entry zostaną zanonimizowane po wysłaniu przez osobę która nie sędziuje ani nie organizuje (anonimizacja zajmie sie @Peter )
- Wyniki turnieju będą ogłaszane publicznie za pomocą tego Discorda
- Obowiązuje ZAKAZ wrzucania entry na swój profil przed zakończeniem fazy sędziowania dla danej rundy - inaczej czeka dyskwalifikacja
- Każdy uczestnik musi mieć aktywne konto na osu! Bancho - tzn. nie jest zbanowany, etc.

- The contest consists of 1 or 2 stages (more info below)
- You can ONLY participate in the contest if the flag on your osu! profile is polish (in the very rare edge cases - dm @hanabyte to prove that you're polish)
- Each user has to send their map on time - otherwise, they are disqualified
- Registration and entry submission will happen through Google Forms (check links for the link)
- Stealing maps will be PUNISHED by disqualification (and being banned from the server) (just dont steal entire maps or sections)
- If you can't use Forms - use Google Drive or any other media hosting service like MediaFire and contact @hanabyte
- If the number of people participating is different than 2, 4, 8 or 16 - we do a Battle Royal Qualification phase (say we have 10 people signing up, 8 will remain after the round and 2 of the worst rated will be eliminated)
- When the amount of player remaining/signed up is equal to 2, 4, 8 or 16 - the contest changes to the ladder format, where the pairs will be generated randomly (or based on the qualified mappers' rankings in the Battle Royale phase if that happens)
- Each participant will map the same song as the others, and everyone has to use the provided .osz file
- Due to attention span issues - the length of each submission will extend with each round:
Battle Royale: 30-45 sec
Round of 16: 45-60 sec
Round of 8: 60-90 sec
Quarterfinals: 90-120 sec
Semifinals: 120-150 sec
The Grand Final: 150 sec or more

Cohesion (30%): This will focus on how coherent your entry is. How all the elements of the map come together such as; rhythm, hitsounds, patterning, and music representation.
Expertise (30%): Going hand-in-hand with the Cohesion category this will test your mapper knowledge and how to handle your decision making while creating your entry. From the likes of hitsounding, flow, patterning, etc.
Creativity (30%): As maps are to change over the time of osu! The creative yet cohesive maps are what stand out in today’s standards. How can you show your creativity within your entry?
Impression (10%) - How much does the jury like your map subjectively?
- Each category will be rated on a scale from 1 to 10
- Songs will be picked after a consultation between the judges and the organizer
- You have 1 week to submit an entry for each round - that means a fully hitsounded map (not including the Battle Royale phase) (the points where you are supposed to start and end mapping will be marked with bookmarks)
- Judging each round will take approx. 1 week
- Changing the background, metadata and other things which do not affect the map itself are FORBIDDEN (stuff like circle size, approach rate, hp and od are perfectly fine)
- Each entry will be anonymised after being sent - this is being done by a person not affiliated with the judging ( @Peter )
- It is FORBIDDEN to upload your entry to the site before the judging phase for its round is over - if that happens - the participant will get disqualified
