This map doesn't seem to work for me... I get an "unable to import beatmap" error. It seems like lots of people above have gotten it to work, but their nation of origin seems to be China... is something in the song title in Chinese or something?
Also, I didn't see a preview picture in the song info. Maybe the thing just didn't update correctly, but make sure you have a background for your beatmap.

You could start mapping at 02:50:500 then.
04:38:040 (4) - Uhm well, I would suggest that you remove the stream and use a spinner for this part instead (So start spinner where the stream starts and end it where it would end~)
Just saying that if you would remove the streams with the changes I suggested and make Slider Tick-rate 2, max score would be around 17m.
If you leave that one stream and change it with sliders and stuff.... and change Slider Tick-rate to 2, you would probably be able to get around 20-22m points maybe... not to sure~
Other than, seems like a nice diff to me~

General:
Timing is off, I'm hitting notes about 25 ms late, try an offset of +25, to 203. Do this for all diffs before you start looking through the mod.
Easy:
00:30:203 (7) - Slider looks... eh. Maybe just go for a straight shape.
00:31:170 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Same notes gets boring. Try slowly inching up the pattern? Like (3) is about 5 grids above (1), and (4) is level with that, and repeat for (5, 6)
00:38:912 (3,4) - Make one a copy of the other.
00:44:719 (5,6) - One grid right for consistency
01:03:590 (6,5,6) - If you're going to make angular sliders like this, pick one, make it symmetric and make the others copies of it to look better.
01:20:525 (6,7) - don't have these intersect?
01:52:461 (4,5,6,7) - Adjust so 6 is in the exact center?
01:55:848 (1,2) - Try making these parallel

Yep, it's a major problem. Basically go through the entire map and make sure everything is snapped to 1/3 (or 1/6) beat, I'll be back for a recheck later. (You'll probably want to check easy too, though it's much less of a problem there).

I don't think my song's offset is about 25 ms late. And I try offset +25 but it seems not correct. How can you work out this offset timing? Only by hitting notes yourself or using other software or others? Could you show me the conclusive evidence to prove your opinion.akrolsmir wrote:

I want say something about the 'kinda ugly slider shape‘. Although the symmetry by the recognition is beautiful. Do you think bad apple is still beautiful? I think it’s really pretty. It's pure just like my 'kinda ugly slider shape'.
I take a look at all ranked Bad Apple map, only some diff are in 1/3rd time and others are 1/4 time. So please recheck what you say is right or not.

It would be good to check your map with AImod (press ctrl+shift+A). Easy has a few spacing issues. Some consider sliders which overlap to be ugly. I don't usually care, but it's something to think about.
Please put "for approval" in the first post, as this is unrankable due to score/length.

Very long song, not very exciting.
about the "Kinda ugly slider shape":
some people can tell the difference between perfect sliders and almost perfect sliders. You say your sliders are pretty and "good enough". I say that is lazy. Ranked/approval maps don't have to be perfect, but they should at least strive for perfection. If you pay attention to the small details, your map will look better as a result. The other Bad Apples don't quite have perfect sliders either, but they look a whole lot better than yours do. Their sliders are almost always copy/pasted as well, which will always result in near perfect symmetry.
Can't star, sorry, too many personal problems with the map.

about the "Kinda ugly slider shape":
some people can tell the difference between perfect sliders and almost perfect sliders. You say your sliders are pretty and "good enough". I say that is lazy. Ranked/approval maps don't have to be perfect, but they should at least strive for perfection. If you pay attention to the small details, your map will look better as a result. The other Bad Apples don't quite have perfect sliders either, but they look a whole lot better than yours do. Their sliders are almost always copy/pasted as well, which will always result in near perfect symmetry.
Most are in 1/3rd time, where applicable because that's how the music goes. If you want to map to the music, I pointed out all your triplet errors. If you want to map to some other song, then do it straight 1/4ths. There are times you can replace 1/3 or 1/6 with 1/4 as I did in one of my maps, but that was only because 1/6th at 171 BPM is hard.hades0501 wrote:
