Lol, I can't keep up with you 2 anymore. :P
Truth is, I've been playing for a long time and still can't find any way to improve my scores. I can barely FC any of the 2000 songs(only ones I've done are Saitama, Koibumi, normal notes Kechadon, Tenjiku, EkiBEN), and can't get close to your scores on Rotter. I guess I just play for fun :)

Heh. I can't FC Tenjiku or Ekiben on oni.

Please remember that drumming = harder than tapping a keyboard.

We both use the keys at the moment, well I do anyway. So don't worry about it. :)

'Kaiden' is what Taiko 11 arcade uses to combine the 3 Taiko Ranbu maps on the DS into one, since they're all the same. Master Notes is Taiko Ranbu Water, Advanced is Wind, Normal is Fire (correct me if I'm wrong).

I think the first will be 2 classical song from the DS version 1 : flying of the bumble bee and the hardest classical song where you've got a big combo chain at the final part of the song !!! can't remember the name!!! i'll put a video soon!!

The classical song you mentioned was Phantasie Impromptu. Map that if you can~

Same happened to me when I was mapping Rotter. All you do is delete the slider and start again.....wait, there are sliders in the high-speed parts of Kechadon?

Sorry if I'm wrong, but am I right in thinking that Go-Go mode is the roll speed modifications? Like x2 and x3 roll speed without speeding up the actual music.

Yeah, I played though Koibumi yesterday and found the offset errors. Will change the original file soon.

And Go-Go Mode is when you get extra points for hitting notes right, usually at the chorus of the song. It's denoted by a flame at the part where you hit the notes. The roll speed thing is different.

4 new maps uploaded.

Rokodo, I've fixed your Celadon City map and retimed it. It looks a whole lot less messy now.
satandragon mapped one third of Taiko Ranbu, I did the rest and had them packaged into one map. Also uploaded are satandragon's O Sole Mio and Koi wa Mizuiro authentics. First page!

I appreciate your efforts, but a lot of the notes have lost the timing I wanted them to have... I suppose this is one of the limitations of taiko. :(

Having said that, for the most part I like the fixes you have made... just ask me next time when you want to modify the actual notes and spacing them differently. Spacing: Like that part where it goes D-D-D-K d d d... I wanted to go D-D-D-K kk kk like how it was before. The last kk at the start was a little early for my liking too. Otherwise, it's acceptable.

But I have learnt from your fix, I hope you don't mind - I've nicked your offset for future taiko maps because it is 'tasty' and works well! :P

On another note: Smart move to do ranbu seperately. Aside from satandragon having already mapped one for you, it's better to do them seperately like in the DS game because unlike the game/arcade it is not possible in osu! to map various options for the notes to adjust to your skill... like if you broke combo in saitama 2000 the notes would change to adjust for your weakness.

It's like this. When you set the BPM and the offset from wrong to right, you change the position of where the notes are supposed to go(on the lines). Resnap them, and the notes will rearrange themselves to the closest line, and since I don't know what your original intention was for the map, I had no choice, really :P

I've seen the Taiko experts in Japan calling those the "Ni-sen series" (2000 series)

They usually say that XXXX2000 is one of the "2000 series" songs as an introduction before they play it if they are shooting a video.

And Ekiben means "Station" in Japanese, you know... as in train stations?

Okay, since upppy won't work for me, I've uploaded the next few maps into sendspace instead.

Two new authentic maps, Takkyu de Dakkyu and Ra Morena Kumonai. Notice something different in the latter map? That's what I plan to do for most of my subsequent Taiko maps(unless it's already been added, I dunno)

Then there's Symphonic Motos. Mapping and timing this is pure hell...can someone help me? Here's thelink

Lastly, a major(and I mean major) overhaul of the Pokemon custom map I made. Trust me, it's a whole lot better now.

All on the first page :D

That's pretty cool, but you could have not just overlayed the image on the normal skin background as a PNG? Then again, someone might steal it without giving you credit.

PS. I love the new version of your Water Show map, it's a million times better than the old one IMO!! :D
The strings in it make much more sense, especially if this song had come from an actual version of TnT.

But then I wouldn't have any background color, unless I just put the PNG into the storyboard, then it's really difficult to position correctly. I have a template for it on Photoshop too, so I can change the title and color whenever I want. The whole thing turns greyish when the playfield darkens though. Any solution?

Done in photoshop. Ask him for the PSD template, I'm sure he'll give it to you. I will be using the template for my future songs too but I have customized the colours of it to how I want it to look.

Menuet authentic seems fine. The Caramelldansen map is tight. Good job!

But Red Silk has a little problem, the timing points. The map itself is okay, but you didn't need to use one timing point after every stanza of the whole song.

I update my maps regularly. Since they're unranked, any slight change in them would cause the metadata to be different, thereby not working. My advice is to redownload said maps that aren't working. Also, remember to pay attention to which maps I'm fixing(it may be offset issues, new background, preview time and stuff like that) and make sure your multiplayer partners do the same. Me and flyboy played Chikuzei ~GEAR UP~ fine though.

I'll update quite a few maps again, probably by the end of this week, so watch out, 'kay? :)

Lol, I don't know when you and I can be online at the same time, so it's hard to play you.

Well maybe I will just bump into you, I had a game with satandragon at school today!!

PS. I do have the latest versions of the maps, I think osu! just hates us.
Could you put "Song name- Last update DD/MM/YY" or something like that after the map links next time you update them so I can record when I need a new version of something? That would be helpful.

I think the problem was flyboy didn't have all the up to date maps, and Carnivorous Carnival may be my fault coz I changed the background colour... would this make the map incompatible?

I think this because I was able to play a map with matty I hadn't been able to with flyboy, at least I think it hadn't worked.

Changing anything in the map whether that being BG, sfx, timing, notes, etc will make it different or "incompatible"

But... don't you think those glowing notes can be rather... hard to see in Taiko?

Just my opinion, though.

Be Somewhere
Osakana Tengoku
Kurenai
Koibumi 2000
Toccata and Fugue and Rock
Kaze no Fantasy

There may be more, so look out

Also, one new map, Rotterdam Nation(Foo Mix).
