Negative Value Timing offset cuts off first note in beatmap

The MP3 file that I'm using for a map, starts the second you press play. The offset needs to be about -20 to feel good, but the first hit of the song is right on beat 1, and when I enter it into the editor it removes that first note when attempting to playtest the map. Any thoughts or suggestions on a solution?

Timing Setup
Map setup before playtest
Map setup after playtest(Note removed automatically)

That's because the note is put in negative offset, and the editor have the tendency to remove notes put before the 0ms mark.

There's no way to deal with this other than editing the audio file to have the first beat starts in positive offset.

Ohhh gotcha thanks for clarifying that. That's a good idea actually, do you think Audacity is the easiest way to add blank space to the first part of the audio file?

Audacity is at least easy enough that looking for another way will be slower than just doing it in Audacity
