So currently I'm practicing mods, mainly HR and DT, after being a NM player for all of my osu! career. However, there's a mild change that I think adding to the game would be great for quality of life (especially for DT players.) Instead of having it show your best overall score, the score that would be displayed could be based on the mod that you have selected.
Say, for example, you have an S rank on a map with NM and you want to start practicing it with DT, which you have a C rank with. This would make it so that when you have NM selected, it would show your best overall score (in this case, the NM S rank,) and when you selected DT it would show your best score with DT (in this case, the B rank.)
This way, people practicing mods (like me) could have a convenient way of seeing their best score on a given map without having to look at local scores.
This could be toggleable in the settings for people not a fan of the feature, but I think it could be a neat quality of life thing.
