Changes to osu! standard Star rating and pp rebalancing

1. Star rating fix - I don't know if osu! factors in breaks in between the map when calculating star rating, if it does then this can be ignored.

2. PP adjustment when the player pauses the map during break - I feel there should be a deduction in performance points in this scenario depending on how long the map was paused, the same can be applied when a player pauses a map during game play however the deduction here should be more forgiving. If PP adjustment is not possible then this can at least be turned into a mod, where turned On rewards players more pp for not pausing the game and the opposite when the player does pause. The amount of PP given should depend on the type of the map, for example when applying this mod on marathon maps there should be a significant gain in PP when not pausing during breaks or game play.

1. You have to be more specific and say exactly what is wrong. You can't just say "Star rating fix".

2. This idea you propose is too much. Think about it... if this is added it means that each player will activate the mod every time they play to get more pp, it doesn't make sense.

Being a bit extreme.

Imagine a future where each player have in his top plays the mod of "Not pause to get more pp".

Regarding the star rating fix for breaks, let's say we have a 7* map (fix not applied) that has a break halfway in between, also keep in mind the star rating remains the same during break. Now during break the player regains some stamina, this makes the next section of map less tough to play and here is where a star rating de-buff is needed, this de-buff depends on the length of the break. For example just before the break begins the star rating was 5.1, after the map resumes a -0.7 or -0.2 de-buff is applied making the 5.1* into 4.4* or 4.9* respectively. So the actual star rating of the whole map might end up being 6.3* or 6.8*

Now regarding the mod, if the developers find it too tough/unnecessary to implement they are free to make their own changes or not implement it.
