Are curved monitors bad?

I want to buy a new monitor because my old 60Hz one is starting to give up, the cheapest 240Hz I found is a curved monitor. Price does not matter so much because there aren't any 240Hz cheaper than that.

Basically I just want to know if I should go more expensive for a flat monitor or cheaper for a 144Hz.
The price on the 240Hz Curved monitor is fine for me but I'm scared that my osu! gameplay might become...
worse(than it already is)

I used to have a flat monitor but now use a curved monitor, it's been alright

At first curved feels weird but you get used to it quickly and then it doesn't make a difference.

I prefer curved and I have been using one for a couple years, the only downside is that going back to flat makes it feel like the monitor corners are warped away from you for a minute

When you sit close enough the image can get distorted, but if you sit away like at a usual difference it makes things look more clear than a flat monitor in my opinion!
