Sound like a skill issue to me
You are very new to the game and that's why you are misunderstanding how sliders work
Basics: so you know that there is a circle on the slider and you have to press on that circle, not anywhere else, follow the slider to the end and stop pressing buttom when it end
Reasons why this happening:
1: You are pressing too early or too late
2: you are not pressing key on the slider circle
3: you are not timing the end, maybe you are leaving early or late
4: you suck
5: skill issue

You can miss on slider for some reasons.
- You don't tap the slider with the rythm of it
- You don't let your finger enough pressed on the slider
- You tap too late or too early
- You can't read the map or the pattern
I think that you need to play more to have more result with sliders.
