u may just look at a lot of maps and have a screenshot of whatever u like
when u map just refer to what u've taken so u won't run out of slider shapes
chaser01
just use straight and curve slider lol its the easiest way to make sure u dont blunder
Chiru-kun
just make sure its consistent
if everything beauty then everything beauty
if everything ugly then everything ugly
either way is good
works 110% of the time

ok but seriously yeah, we're heading into mapping style territory if we get so serious about this topic; I mean, just look at how different yet widely accepted movement mapping and hexagrid mapping is, and everything in between; best thing to do is be consistent and set slider creation rules (if you're actually looking for answers in this thread); if you actually want a warmup, try to find a map each of the two mapping styles I mentioned and try to guess the general rules or boundaries to slider creation on those specific maps

hexagrid first since that's clean like everyone wants to say

or you can download this map lol
if you haven't guessed I'm trying not to be serious here

-. do not spam anchors (especially if they're too close to each others unless it produce a pleasant results)
-. learn the algorithm
-. trial and error is your best bet to make a pleasant slider shapes
-. keep making
-. Consistency is important (basically using slider shapes that are similar on each parts like chorus or verse or using certain degree curves for all of the sections as a concept)
-. Relate any shapes with song's intensity (in other words, smaller curves that barely noticeable suited for a calm section, and high curves suited for denser sections like chorus
-. sliders shapes are subjective according to people's opinion. but it's a bad thing of executed properly

just a thing to bare in mind. usually slider anchor's algorithm follow this kinda shapes called 3-point sliders instead of this when you make a slider shapes (say like this) you should add more anchors because it follows a different algorithm like this. if not, it'll be ended like this

ah yea. you can also make a "cool" wavy sliders like this if you understand the algorithm
