I use wooden bachis,bought from some shop selling classical
chinese instruments.Slightly longish and thin,and light enough
for me I guess.
Drumsticks for western drums (with the knob at the tips snapped off)
are the best for mashing drumrolls,but they rebound off the drum when
you hit it too hard.
Heavier bachis are good for stamina training.It's difficult to use at first,but your
drumming speed will improve when you switch to lighter ones.
