I've been wondering that myself. At least for Portable 2 I heard that the only difference between Asia and Japan region is the manual and the price. Asia has a manual that is in english and is cheaper (for some reason) while Japan does not. I don't know if that's true beause I could not get my hands on the Asia region (they're also rarer for some reason).

Random: I could get something as low as 10% on my upcoming chem final, and I would still bump my grade up from a B+ to an A-. lol

If Namco are being conservative they'll probably stick to Portable 2's engine, which means no lyrics.

Anyway, so I got the videos uploaded; I probably should have warmed up first before I took the vids lol

You can sort the songs by version you know.(change the sorting by
using the green buttons,IIRC)
Saves a bit of sweat scrolling through the shitload
of songs

@crystal: that's exactly what I did, and frankly I couldn't find Second Heaven in the list of PnM 17 songs...

...unless it's in Kanji, which would explain the reason why I wouldn't be able to find it...

Off-topic: since I'm dead bored at th emoment here in the office (waiting for my netbook to clean itself of the virus that came along with arken.exe...), I'd just share a few descriptions of what I'm developing right here.

It's basically a system that can monitor cases. 'Cases' like theft, negligence, etc. I sceenie'd a window of my dummy data and... I couldn't actually believe how much wacky I've been with my sample data lol; look at the fields...

To actually capture HQ videos of arcades, you would need to either have access to or own a System 256(?) PCB. I think I linked one to Ebay here a long time ago. Obviously that sale's long gone now. Even if you do happen to have one, you would still need at least the game CD itself and its specific security dongle. There's probably other things too besides that.

Yeah, my amoebiasis (sp?) keeps triggering as long as I intake dirty water or too much pork fat (from the popular PH food "Chicharon" mainly; for some reason I can eat pork just fine except if it's in Chicharon)

Also, I'm uploading ZekiraSucks.mp4 at the moment. Will add annotations afterward. Vid quality sucks since I took it with my phone just like the MvC3 vid that I have

I was looking at it again and I actually tried to look for Second Heaven two times... the first time I was looking for it in the 17 listing and the second time I tried to look for it in the name listing. I failed both times (although I could seriously swear Konmai doesn't know their English alphabet)

Oh and before I forget to say, I also pre-ordered Taiko PSPDX just this morning. Expecting to get it 3-5 days after release though; at least I'm gonna get Angel Dream 3 without cracks :D (I think)

Good thing the Asian releases are way cheaper than the JP releases

Hmm,maybe it's because the song list (the scrolling part)
shows the -genre- instead of the song name,and is written
in japanese?(when you toggle it to list by ver,the arrangement
is ver->level->genre (I think).Hmm)
Sometimes I scroll too fast and miss songs that I wanna play lolz

Off topic:Just tried playing Rin to Shite (5 buttons,I still suck
with 9) It's listed as a lv 20 song,yet I nearly FC'd it.
And I still can't pass Love Bazooka,on lv 12.Go figure.

Anything below 23 is relatively easy; 23 is the first benchmark of difficulty jump IMO

(oddly enough it was Rin to Shite's 9 that I failed; but that's the fault of crappy buttons and not because I suck)

For 5 buttons it's level 15.(since the highest is only 20-something,
expect difficulty spikes)

It's just frustrating since I normally get 80k-90k on Rin to Shite (on the AC) and then I end up videoing the time when the buttons just decided to crap out and has me failing it >_>

That's what you get for having a dynamic groove meter.
Even if you're doing well at first,once you start missing lots
of notes later on,you're still screwed.
Especially when the cabinet is rigged to be stricter than normal…

Also explains why Konmai loves to do Last Note Nightmares.

(If taiko decides to use this kind of meter…cue Oh Crap)

Most of the song wasn't too difficult,until the last part
after the SENGOKU RETSUDEEEEEEEN! routine.
The notechart then swerves into lv16-and-beyond territory,
and I was like WTF man.

Makes me like Namco Wonder Park (Causeway Bay)
more and more lol (maintainence is good,so the cabinets
don't have unresponsive controllers,except for the older
taiko cabinets)

A lack of IIDX is my only complaint,if you ask me.
(I can go to game cyber,but travelling between two
arcades can be troublesome.And that place reeks of
cigarettes orz)

Sure I do,but I don't really have a choice.The other arcade
with IIDX is somewhat nearby,but it's harder to get to without
getting lost.To make things worse,it's not in the same route
as the one to Namco Wonder Park (that means I have to waste
more time travelling there)

Still,I only play IIDX there,maybe one or two rounds.
After that,I'll get out as quickly as possible to avoid
breathing in more smoke.
Namco Wonder Park is smoke-free,thank goodness
