Hello everyone!
All beatmap packs have been removed from Google Drive.
But you can download them via torrent. The files are in this folder.

Torrent is for 2007-2020, OneDrive is for 2021. It's just for different things.mol wrote:

You need all the parts and the exe, not just the exe. (osu! 7 parts, taiko 2 parts, others 1 part each, and their respective exe).-M8gic- wrote:

You can choose not to download the exe if you deemed the file is unsafe, and proceed to use 7-Zip with zstd codecs, or PeaZip, which I mentioned in my signature.
And you may have downloaded when I didn't finish uploading all the parts.

Has anyone created collections for each year? I am downloading all the packs right now and am trying to get them into collections but i can't find a good way to only get the ones from one year into one collection without having to do each manually. So I was wondering if anyone already has collections per year/month or knows of a way to put them all into collections sorted by year without having to do it one map at a time.

TL;DR: zstd has decent compression ratio with SUPER GOOD compress and decompress time.
7z lzma2 got super good ratio, but decompress time, and the memory needs to do so is large as well.
RAR: meh, the only good thing is that it has Recovery record.
So you'll need something supports zstd to extract it. Or just download the SFX so the libs required are included.

It's there for people who don't like to use 7-zip (with zstd codecs) or other things that supported zstd.

zip is bad because the osz is already a zip, with its extension renamed.
Compressing an already compressed file with the same method WON'T HELP ANY.
It would just help as a packager, with little to no size reduce at all.
Leave the osz as is, meh: torrenting would saturate your resources, and downloading from Drive also takes enormous time zipping them for you to download (or you spend time download every single osz)
7z (lzma2): best compression, but needs LOTS of memory (your RAM) to compress and decompress as well, also LONG TIME compress & decompress.
zstd helps with most of that, decent compress, FAST extract time. And you can always download the SFX exe files. They include things needed to extract it for you, so you have really little "complicated time" though. Unless you super careful about malware and doubt the files (and you should most of the times), then that's the time for you to think it's complicated and download the 7z with other archiving programs.
I choose this because it's like a 1 time download, extract then delete (unless you want to store them as collection), so I choose this method for the convenience of FAST extraction time.
Also, this was meant as a temporary folder before Elessey makes thing though. They will be removed in the future.

Hey, thanks for keeping this project alive. I have unlimited drive access until October 2023 and I needed a backup of all of these torrents for a project I am working on.

I tried to D/L some stuff from YEP's google drive (so non-torrent) for my own personal archive, but I had a couple issues.
First of all, I couldn't download any of the Standard folders. Kept saying the download quota has been exceeded so I can't access it. Same with 2015, and later 2011. 2012-14 and 16, 17 and 19-20 were already D/L'd so I didn't check those, but it feels like it stands to reason that 2007-2011 will all have this message.
So I tried to start downloading the others beginning with Taiko, but when I tried it keeps telling me to enable third-party cookies to D/L the folder; that, or I guess I'd have to use one of their suggested third-party apps instead of being able to just D/L them normally beforehand (like, as early as last weekend). Trying to learn more only tells me how to do it for Chrome, which is kinda dumb to not include other web browsers cuz I use Firefox. (not that allowing cookies didn't help, either).
What can I do?

Google drive downloads have a hidden quota limit, so if you get an error then you need to either wait or use the torrent

Please use mcmilk's 7-zip, PeaZip, or original 7-Zip with zstd plugins (codecs) from either TC4Shell, or mcmilk... or anything that supports zstd to extract the new archives. For more info, check my userpage, because the space in this signature is very limited.

Barely managed to download 2022 folder as for now. Nevertheless, thx for the work, you're doing a great job making these packs. Would've donated a couple of bucks if Russia weren't blocked from SWIFT, sadly I'm talking about both ranked and loved, downloading the packs on OneDrive is a nightmare, they should be grouped by year and not by month (that only makes sense for the current year because of course it is in progress) and imo SFX files are redundant, people should just install the ZSTD codecs.
Also the 2021 ranked pack should be added to the torrent and you should consider adding the loved packs (by year) to the torrent as well.

For SFX, it's just a "plan B" thingy in case.
About adding the 2021 packs to torrent, we're waiting for Elessey atm to make it consistent.
The Loved packs, they're additionals from me, not within the scope of this maps project, but yeah, I got your point, maybe I should creating torrents for them.

Edit: checked with another PC, using latest mcmilk's 7-zip, I extracted all 8 packs (from 4 modes) from 2022 normally though.
Try checking your download if it was interrupted or your codecs version is older.

How to get the packs with torrent? What is torrent?Where is last month pack?
- Get a torrent client like qBitorrent or Deluge.
- Download any torrent file you want from the list below on this post. You will get a file ending with ".torrent".
- Open it. If you have your torrent client installed, it will open it and start downloading the pack. You will get the pack which is a ".zip" file. You will need a program like WinRar, WinZip or 7-Zip to open it.
- Open this file. You will see all the beatmaps of the month and mode you have downloaded.
- Extract the mapset you want or all of them in a folder and then open them. You can also drag and drop them straight to your osu client if you're adding a lot of maps.
- There's nothing to do in the songs folder. Once you have extracted the mapsets from the .zip files, you just have to open those mapsets or drag and drop them in your client, just as if you had downloaded them from the osu beatmap page. Do not copy anything in the songs folder, your osu client will take care of that.
I don't have a fixed schedule for the uploads, sometimes I do it as soon as the month is over, sometimes I take more time. I do things when I can.
Where is 20xx torrent? (especially when said year is not over)

I used osu!direct to check that I had everything but I've had problems with it so I can't be sure that 100% of the ranked maps are there.
There might be a few missing maps at most but I think that 99% of the maps are there.

Videos are included on maps that have them. I am not interested in doing the same thing without the videos.
Does it include loved maps? Please add loved maps.
Loved maps are basically unranked maps that have a ranking leaderboard. Nonetheless, they are still unranked maps that can be ranked in the future. Therefore it would require to remove them from the loved list and then add them to the ranked list, which I am not interested in doing.

For all the maps ranked from 2007 to 2017, I've used the time from the old website (UTC+9 if I'm not wrong).
From 2017 to 2020, I have used my local time (UTC+4).
From 2020, I have been using my local time (UTC+1 / UTC+2).
So if you notice errors like these, please do not report them unless you see the mapset in both months. Some maps will be in a different month depending on your timezone.

If you download from torrent, you should wait until the download is finished (you can check it through the torrent client), somehow in some Windows version, the files will shown with full filesize as if it was finished even if it doesn't (you'd have to check the Properties to see "Size on disk").
Some downloads don't even work correctly -> if no one seeding that file, yes, you won't be able to download it, that's how torrent works.
If you download from the OneDrive link, you shouldn't get any ZIP, but either 7z or exe files. How to open it? Check my forum signature.

Im trying to extract 2022-04_(o!).7z.001 with peazip and it asks me for a password? 03 05 and 06 worked fine

when i try to download from giai tech's onedrive, the download never finishes, it will download only 8gb (sometimes more or less) then say its complete, and the file will be corrupt. Does anyone else have this issue, or know how to solve it?

Download each files instead of the whole folder (even if the file is >2GB, in my case) solve the problem.
Or you can just Ctrl+Click some number of files and not everything in a folder.
It's not really corrupted, just some files at the end of "that 8GB". Since downloading a folder just make OneDrive zip them in (just packaging them in a zip, not really compress anything), so you can still extract them, and get a few first files though (e.g. you download January-December, the 8GB would be around Jan-Apr, you'd get Jan-Mar normally and a corrupted Apr, all bundled in a zip).
