Welcome to the forum page of the 2021 Winter Featured Artist Cup for osu!catch. This is now the third iteration of this contest series I have been hosting! These seasonal mapping contests are on a much smaller scale than other contests like MBC and the Mapping World Cup. Contestants are simply asked to map from a pool of songs composed of recently added Featured Artists (which is where the seasonal aspect comes in).
Last time on the FAC, we saw Jemzuu once again take first place over second place Ilhamuharam and third place JBHyperion with his set of A? - ENERGY INFLATION

The Plan:
Contest Overview
- Contest will consist of one round where contestants will map a song from a Featured Artist that has been released within the season (within the 3 months of contest start date). Contestants can choose from a pool of songs to map that the judges will decide.
Judges will be given a list of featured artists that were released over the last three months and will pick songs for the pool for contestants to map. This hopefully makes the contest feel more like a seasonal contest - Each Contestant will submit ONE difficulty of whatever song they decide to map in the pool.
A change from previous iterations, the submission can be whatever difficulty can be whatever the mapper desires. - All submissions must be rankable.
No mapset submitted must be intentionally unrankable. Mistakes happen and points will be deducted for them, but this is a regular mapping contest, not aspire. - Maps must NOT be uploaded before judging and results are announced.
Uploaded maps before judging is finished and results are announced will be disqualified no questions asked. - Submissions will not be accepted after the deadlines.
Just don't procrastinate. Leniency can be given only if there is a general consensus that a deadline extension should be given.

Snowleopard - The songs from Featured Artists that the judges can pick from are within the dates of September 12th to December 12th. Sign-Up Deadlines end at December 5th 12:00 AM PST (UTC-7). Contest is set to start and songs will be announced on December 12th and end on January 3rd 12:00 AM PST (UTC-7).

First Place: Profile Badge! (probably), 50 USD in paypal money
Second Place: 4 months of osu!supporter, 20 USD in paypal money
Third Place: 2 months of osu!supporter, 10 USD in paypal money.
