Even without the active, youmu's is too good on Yi. The armor penetration it gives is way too important, and the cooldown reduction is nice. Also Attack damage. Also crit chance. It almost has everything yi needs. Just learn to use the active.

Attacking fast and getting crits won't mean much if you can't get through their armor, and if you're not doing any damage to begin with.

Hey guys, I'm just looking for people to play league with sometime.

I am level 30 with 400+ wins, and a big league and osu! fan.

I play almost every role, except that i kinda suck at tanking :lol:

I also use TS,Ventrilo,Skype etc. to chat so if we can get a 5 man premade going that would be cool also :D

You really see a Blitz very rarely in the weeks he is not free. Never understood that because he has a lot of nice hard cc..

I find that nocturne's fear is hard to get away from, even flash( hate it >.<) can't get you out of that.

I failed pretty hard with Noct the only game I played him. Granted I know exactly why, but he isn't as faceroll as I thought.

We had a TF on our team who was terribad. Idk how to lose with 2 global(nearly) ults. Or how to only get 2 towers compared to like 9 when you have three great BDers.

In other news, Akali is OP early-mid game rape. :D

Good champ, but his R sucks.

The ratio is terrible, .5 (the lowest of his skill set), and only bounces 5. I assume they did 5 because they didn't want it to rape as many faces as lich's does in DoTA (Plague rider in HoN) but it moves too slow and easily avoidable. I think the ratio should be up'd to .7 and have 7 or 8 bounces. It'd be good and worth using in team fights. ATM its best used when fighting 1v2 or 2v2.

But everything else about him is good IMO, solid champ.

i dont know what brand you play but when i drop brand's ulti in a teamfight, everything it touches pretty much explodes.

5 bounces + 0.5x ap on each one = 2.5x ap ratio total, meaning that deathcap you buy adds about 550 damage to his ult regardless of rank overall

not many ultimates have such a high effective ratio

the reason you lost that one is not because of your morde (whom at least built correctly for the most part, but because of your gangplank - whom despite having nearly 390+ AD and guaranteed crit, had no defense items whatsoever and found himself dead before he could do well, anything in a teamfight.

Funnily enough, my username on LoL is the same as everywhere else, including here. I am on a US server, I just can't remember which one...
Anyway, I usually play Zillian, Soraka, or Alistair (only when I have to for Al though), and I am trying to earn Sona after an epic game I had when she was free and I got 0/0/39. Also trying to get Kennen after I got pentakills on my first try with him in a game stacked with level 25-30 players (I'm level 13)

So i read this thread and decide to d/l LoL, just to see what the hubbub is about. Sounds pretty fun. Downloaded/updated in half an hour, rearing to go, launch the game... 3 hour queue. The only condolence i get is a flimsy meme reference 'Your position in queue: Over 9000' - ha ha bloody ha. Go on forums - people complaining about having to take LoL as a full time job just to keep up with champion releases. Many 'RP boycott' threads.

Guys i'm not liking the sound of this so far. -.-

Question: Are there such queues on NA server?

yes, there are queues on the north american server

the only reason the price of champions is even an issue is because the game designs itself around competition, and you are at a more severe disadvantage for every champion you don't own

K so need tips... played a few games coop vs. ai, bought 2 runes, got like 700ip left over: should i buy one of the cheaper champions, or stick with the beginner selection until i can afford a better one?

Since you're new, I'd recommend trying out heroes from each free week (they automatically show up in your hero selection screen and the selection rotates every week) and seeing who you like. I've made a few buys that I've regretted because I only read the champ's skill set and thought that I would have liked playing them, but once I actually bought them and tried them out, realized that I thought they were boring as hell. Have never played them since and pretty much wasted the IP when I could have bought someone nicer.

This, but it's still nice to get accustomed to the rune page and know what you can and can't do.

As for me, I usually main certain types of champs, so my rune page is mostly all for that type of hero.

Yeah, knowing who you can go 1v1 against takes a bit of time to get used to.

Haha and yeah, fighting under an enemy tower definitely is not a good idea unless you know you can kill under it and escape without dying. Each turret hit deals 2 bars of damage (200 health), so judge accordingly if you are going to actually do something like that. XD

Well, i've got a few more days of playing during which i can blame all my failures on me being a beginner. After that, either i start getting better or i don't and i start stabbing myself and quit. =D

Also, with Youumuu's Ghost Blade (not sure of spelling, can't remember it), is it a homage to Touhou/something else or vice versa?
