hey! you just need to practice.
Check the beatmap listing, pick the songs you like the most and start playing then replay your maps aiming for a higher rank. Always try new things and be patient until you're more into it and will need to learn some other technical stuff.
Just get better while having fun.

I am also pretty new to Osu but I have played other beat games so I have a few tips. I recommended just finding beatmaps of songs you know or enjoy. I did Vocaloid songs sense I came to Osu from the Project Diva series. Doing beatmaps that you know the song to and enjoy can help since you should already know the beat to go along to. I just recommend starting those beatmaps at easy then slowly moving up in levels of difficulty so you can slowly but surely improve.
Welcome! Most people will tell you the same advice (play more) but I suggest trying to look up some YouTube videos on specific skill you're trying to perfect. Watching streamers and how they play usually helps a bit too, but the most important thing in the very beginning is to just play to have fun, and you'll eventually start gaining more skill overtime. True, man went from having 60% acc on easy and normals diffs to ss'ing maps with HDDT in the span of 4 days. If anything, we should be the ones asking for tips since his progression certainly seems to be an interesting one.TTChaos wrote:
