  1. This is a 1v1, rank restricted tournament which will include both a Swiss Stage the first 6 weeks and then a Double Elimination Bracket
  2. The rank range is 50 to ∞
  3. The tournament will be played in ScoreV2
  4. The tournament will hold a maximum of 64 players. If there aren't 64 players by the end of the registrations cutoff will go down to 32 but format might suffer changes if that occurs.
  5. Players will be seeded by rank from 1 to 64 to have the matchups for the beginning matches of the swiss style stage.

    SWISS STYLE EXPLANATION

Watch this video to understand everything regarding the Swiss System properly.
In case of this not being enough, there is an explanation text below.

  6. Swiss Style is a league style format which consists in playing against an x amount of oponents depending on the format and the rounds existing. This implies that each player will not play against everyone in the swiss. Each matchup will depend on the seeding and performance of every player in the swiss bracket. There is an exception where in case of a tie a player might rematch someone depending on their point difference ( this depends on the Challonge )
  7. Each player will play throughout 6 weeks, 6 matches/rounds of swiss style.
  8. Matchups will be paired between players who possess the sdame amount of W-L-D ( for example someone that goes 3-0 will be prioritized against someone who also is 3-0 ). What is more, playing against the same player twice will be avoided unless its completely necessary.
  9. Every match will use bo13, this means throughout the entire swiss bracket a player will need 7 points to win a match or 6 to guarantee a tie. Semifinals onwards will also be bo13. Swiss won't have tiebreaker.
  10. In case of a tie in W-L-D at the end of the 6 rounds/matches several tiebreaker methods will be used based on different information:
    1. Points
    2. Buchholz
    3. Points scored difference
  11. Everyone who meets the rank restricted requirements is able to sign up. Any members of staff apart from Organizers, Mappoolers and Referees, are allowed to play.
  12. The top 12 players from the swiss stage will move on to a bracket reset if the team from the loser's bracket wins the first match.
  13. Players who are not in the rank range are allowed to register. However, if they are not within the rank range by the time the registration ends, their registration will be removed. Nevertheless, when registrations close players are allowed to leave the rank range.
  14. Signing up does not guarantee your participation in the tournament. You'll have to stay within the cutoff until registrations close. The cutoff will be held at 64 players.
  15. To registrate to the tournament each player will have to follow the format posting their osu id + UTC timezone in the registrations channel which will only be open for 2 weeks till regs end.
  16. After registration ends players are allowed to leave the rank range to any extent
  17. Every player who enters will play 6 matches in total throughout 6 weeks in the Swiss Bracket. Only the top 12 players will go through the double elimination bracket afterwards.
  18. Players will enter immediately into a Semifinals situation in bracket. Top 4 players in the swiss will be in the winners bracket while the top 5-12 will start from the losers bracket.
  19. All match schedules will be written in UTC
  20. Reschedules will always be taken as long as they are 24hs before the first schedule.
  21. 1 match will be played per week to make it easy for the players. In total players will play 6 matches in total in swiss.
  22. Mappools will release each week's Monday so every match can happen before.

  2. If a player has a 10 minute delay they will have their roll automatically lost.
  3. If a player has a 15 minute delay they will have their match automatically lost
  4. If both players end up noshowing it will be deemed as a tie.
  5. Each player can submit a warmup. However, it might not be more than 3 minutes long.
  6. Highest roll will be given four options and be asked to pick one. Those options are: Pick First, Pick Second, Ban First and Ban Second. The loser will then choose the other option, for example; Winner picks ban order so loser chooses pick order.
  7. Referee will summarize then the pick/ban order selected by players.
  8. You can call for an abort or disconnection within the first 30 seconds of the map having started in order to replay the map. Each player has a limit of 1 replay per match.

  11. Players do not have any FreeMod restrictions, they can go with NoMod, Hidden, HardRock or HiddenHardrock.
  12. It is the player’s responsibility to be prepared for the match. If any technical difficulties appear related to the maps (for example, if a player has a slow connection and has problems downloading a map), the referee is allowed to give the point to the enemy player, assuming the problematic player is taking too long fixing their problem and not cooperating.
  13. There are no time restrictions, but players are expected to act using common sense. If a player is obviously stalling, then the referee is allowed to add an !mp timer of their choice ( preferably 2 minutes )
  14. Disrespect of your assigned referee, and/or your opponent, will not be tolerated. (Also applies for the Discord server and towards other staff members)
  15. If there are 2 ties, the pick will be nullified.
  16. Ban order is: Player 1 ban, Player 2 ban, Player 1 ban, Player 2 ban.

The pool size will depend on the stage:
    Swiss Style 5 NM/3 HD/3 HR/3 DT/3 FM/NO TB
    Semifinals, Finals and Grand Finals: 5 NM/ 3 HD/3 HR/3 DT/3 FM/1 TB
