Hello. I decided to try out the osu!mania mode. I'm still pretty new to mode and I would like to ask for any maps that are suitable for a mania beginner like me?

Play literally anything. Just search for your favorite song, play the easy difficulty until you have a score you're proud of, then move on to another one.

Hi there! I would recommend playing mania maps that are around 1* for beginning, just getting out a feel for the keys. If you plan to continue mania, I would highly recommend starting with the 7key mode. As someone who can only play 4k proficiently and is terrible at 7k, I regret not starting 7k sooner. Mania just takes time to learn similar to any other mode.

Try to focus on just learning the basics first and stay dedicated with consistent practice :) (FOCUSING ON ACCURACY IS A MUST - developing good accuracy habits from the start instead of just mashing through difficult maps will help you improve soooooooo much faster). Here's a really old 7k guide that has a lot of maps linked - most of the information is still relevant though! community/forums/topics/147552

Oh yeah, one other thing. The best tip I have is to disable the "scale scrollspeed with bpm" setting within your options. This setting is very detrimental to improvement in mine and many other's opinions and just makes the game more difficult to play imo.

P.S. if you ever want to multi sometime, just lmk! :) I love playing with others when possible. Enjoy your time here on mania!

Hello. Thanks for the tips

I followed your advice to try out the 7k maps and they are really confusing. But hopefully I'll survive

It would really be cool to multi some time.

And also, thank you Sugar_owo for the map suggestions. I really appreciate it.

Just play anything tbh. It's good to practice both modes at 7k and 4k. It's a steady increasing time so wish you the best of luck
