Being able to separate Timing Points and Inheritance Points into folders would be a great addition to the osu!Editor, as it helps keep track of which points are used for what.
As an example, an SV Charter, or Speed Variation Charter, might need multiple Inheritance Points to produce a gimmick within the chart. Having one or two gimmicks may be fine, but if said gimmicks become the orientation of the chart (seen usually in Aspire charts, osu!Taiko charts, and osu!mania charts), seeing this can be pretty damn daunting, especially if it goes on for more than a few scrolls.
This can be a lot worse if it's consistently a thing throughout the chart, which can result in more than 1000 points.
With Point Folders, you can easily access certain Points found in certain times and separate one gimmick group from another. Or, you can lump Points into folders by their SV Multiplier, so you can change the scale of a gimmick on the fly. There's a lot of potentials that could be utilised with this feature.
