Welcome to BracketKay's Bracket: Spring 2021!
- This is an international, 2v2 tournament with team sizes of 2 - 4 players rank #1 - 20,000 BWS. (BWS will also be used as a means to control how teams will be formed.)
- All matches will be played using Team VS, ScoreV2.
- Players must join the discord server.
- The top 32 teams will advance to the first round of bracket stage.
- All scheduling will be done in UTC. Find your timezone along with conversions here.
- Staff are prohibited from participating in the tournament with the exception of commentators, streamers, and GFX.

- A team may consist of 2 - 4 players who are within a BWS rank range of #1 - 20,000.
- The highest two BWS rank players on the team must have an average of 80 or lower (80, 81, 82...). This must hold true until the end of registration. Formula: BWS Rank = rank^(0.9967^(badges^2))
Example: If a team has members ranked 67, 102, and 160, the highest two ranked players would be the players ranked 67 and 102 to which the average is 84.5 and is within regulations.
(Averages of 79.5 shall be rounded up to 80) - Any form of disrespect, harassment, and/or abuse towards your assigned referee, other staff members, and/or other players via in-game match and/or discord WILL NOT be tolerated and will be met with sufficient punishment.
- Forfeiting two matches without prior notice/valid reasoning or dropping out of the tournament after qualifying because “you didn’t want to play anymore" or for any other non-emergency reason, will have you added to the watchlist and prohibited from entering the next iteration.
Qualifiers Procedures:
- Qualifiers will be used to determine seeding for bracket stages.
- The mappool will consist of 10 maps and will be similar in difficulty to the pool for Ro16.
- The pool shall be played once starting from NM1 and finishing with DT2.
- In order to keep lobbies running smoothly, 2 minute timers shall be used between maps for teams to swap members and ready up.
- If a team fails to join their lobby 5 minutes after the scheduled time, they may choose to play the maps they missed at the end of the lobby (with the referee's permission) or reschedule to another lobby.
- Following qualifiers, the top 32 teams will move onto a double-elimination bracket stage.
Match Procedures:
- A referee will create a lobby and invite the captains. Captains are responsible for inviting their team into the lobby.
- If a team fails to join the match 5 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will lose their ban(s) and their roll.
- If a team fails to join the match 10 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will forfeit.
- Warmups are allowed a maximum total length of 4:30.
- After warmups, captains will roll. The winner of the roll may choose pick order or ban order. The loser will choose the remaining order.
- During Ro32 and Ro16, teams will have 1 ban. Quarterfinals and onwards, teams will have 2 bans.
- Teams will have 2 minutes for bans, should they fail to choose one within that time, they will lose their ban.
- Teams will have 2 minutes for pick, should they fail to choose one within that time, the pick will be given to the other team. This does not change the original order of picks.
- Once a map is picked, teams will have 2 minutes to swap teammates and ready up. Once the timer is finished, the referee will force start the map.
- A team cannot pick or ban from the same mod pool twice in row with the exception of NoMod.
- FreeMod picks allow HD, HR, FL, and EZ. Both players must have a mod. They do not need to be unique. EZ will have a multiplier of 1.85x.
- NF will be enforced on all maps.
- If a tiebreaker is to be played, captains will DM the referee which map they would like to ban. From this, the remaining tiebreaker is chosen. If captains ban the same map, the referee will use "!roll 2" to decide which map will be played out of the remaining tiebreakers. Tiebreakers apply the same guidelines as Freemod, however, do not require either player to use a mod.
- If a disconnection happens within 30 seconds, the map may be replayed. If the disconnection happens after 30 seconds, the map will continue to be played, and common sense will be applied. This can only be done once per match per team.
