Ummm.... I'm still a little bit confused about how back-up exactly works in this.
OzzyOzrock
If one is absent, back-up shines?

To be honest, whether a player is a back-up or not is not that important. If 3 among 4 players in the team are present, that's completely fine.

Oh, OK. It's because the way rule 10 and 10-1 is worded. Makes me think that all four of us have to always be on time, otherwise we forfeit.
Topic Starter
lepidopodus
Fixed Rule 10 slighty. Could cause confusion to use the word 'whole team'.

EDIT:
Modified registration period slighty by a few hours. Well I guess everyone is already registered, though.
Group drawing will be right after closing of registration. Will be done by using certain program that I found from Korean web, so just a click will decide everthing.

EDIT2:
...without considering continent. That would be better except for setting timetable lol

whats with the maps, why are there osu! maps. Should be taiko ones only. :/

Wtfisthis i dont even o.o

Btw, Why osu standard maps on a taiko tournament ? :( they're so many offical maps on TnT...

different map testing player different abilities, even osu! maps
also, taiko oni is too hard for Robin-round stage

I'll check usage of those maps and apply them to map list for next week. That means, if players don't use standard maps, I'll put much less standard maps in the next phase.

+1 for matthewhln

Some maps are too boring.
And other maps have a wrong timing/offset or are too hard as other maps. orz
Honestly, sorry.

The maps are more acc oriented.

Please know that this map list is trying to fit both experts and novices, if you find maps that you don't like or are boring.. just don't pick them (less chance you'll be playing them).
I do agree on the badly timed maps and etc but im sure it will be fixed and we'll discuss about it...
Anyway, good luck to everyone ^_^
Topic Starter
lepidopodus
Broad difficulty spread is what I mean. I divided mappool by 7 difficulty groups and only 'Very Hard' group was excluded for round 1.
Of course, this will be fixed following usage of the maps.

About timing, those are ranked ones so I though it's ok. If you think anything wrong about timing, please post here or PM me. I'll ask to some experts to confirm it. (Mainly Alace, as he is a staff.)

EDIT:
Nico Nico Douga - Kamijo-san & Biribiri at The Skyhigh (KIA) [Taiko Oni] <-- I guess this thing was underestimated lol

EDIT2:
Kamui Gakupo, KAITO, Kagamine Len - IMITATION BLACK (Shinxyn) [Insane] <-- will remain in map list for now.

You guys should blame me if you don't like that map list.

Tournament Instructions
The 1st round of the tournament will be robin-round stage. There will be 4 groups and each groups have 4~5 teams. Your team will play every other teams once, and the team achieved #1 or #2 in their group will be ascended to the next round. Ranking of teams will be decided by certain standards:
 1. More matches won.
 2. Have bigger {(the number of games won) - (the number of games defeated)}.
 3. More games won.
 4. Have bigger ∑{(total score difference) / (maximum score)}.
 5. Winner of the rematch.

Other stages will be Knockout stage. If your team wins the match, your team will be ascended to the next round immediately. but if you lose your match, your team will be knocked out from the tournament.

Usually you will have a match per a week, but in the 1st round you may have two matches in certain week if your group consists of 5 teams.
除第一輪外其他對賽為淘汰賽,即勝方晉級,敗者出局。
正常來說比賽會每週一賽,在5隊一組的情況下有必要時會一週雙賽。

Timetable
IMPORTANT: If you want to change the time, contact to the captain of the opponent team and make agreement between both captains first, then notify manager by PM or post here. If you have any troubles with contacting them, tell manager for some help.

Philippines, Malaysia, and China will play 2 times while Italy-Netherlands and Germany A will only play one time. How will the decision for the positioning be here? I'm just confused since the number of games played aren't equal

Round 1 consist of Round 1-1, 1-2, 1-3. There are 17 teams so there's no way to group teams equaly, so some disacvantages for some teams are inevitable. Since Group A has 5 teams and we have 3 weeks to finish round 1, all teams in group A should play once more in certain week since they will play 4 matches.
Total 10 matches in Group A and round 1-1 has 4. That's why so many teams play twice in this week. Of course they won't play twice in other weeks.

Uh, no. Your team will have match with each of teams in group A, so you will have total 4 matches during round 1. The best team and the second best team among the group when the round 1 is over will be ascended to round 2, and this round 1-1 is only 1/3 of round 1.

Modified rules slightly, to prevent disconnection on purpose.

Rules wrote:

9. If one of players gets disconnected in the first 2/3 of the map, the game will be nulified. (Excluding intro and outro.)
9-1. If two players get disconnected, the game will be nulified.
9-2. If nullification of games happens in one team more than 2 times in the match, the opponent team will win by default.
9-2-1. In semi-final and final round, more than 3 times of disconnection are needed.
9-3. If the time when the player got disconnected is vague, referee will decide whether to nulify or not.

I'm allready in such a big panic because of tomorrow that I could die.
So I've made a solution! And maybe this - バカ - solution could help you ⑨ too!
SPOILER
You will never make me nervous again, Annonymus XXL and rival!
Well, I've made now fun, but this could really help some people. That's why I've write down the details for this picture.
Lenght = 22,7
High = 16,9

Okay, Rokodo is right, you need to have the same resolution like me. So the details dosen't help you. But you can still keep this idea in mind.

You wonder? Then you are not one of the people who is getting fast nervous.
Q: Do you really play with this?!
A: Possible.
Zeitgeist_old
