I know this sounds dumb, but i wanted to know, how can i put a portion of the song i'm mapping so when you hit play, in the "beatmaps" section, it plays the bit you put there?

Either press F5 in the editor and press Tab to enable Auto, or choose Auto and then choose the map/hold Ctrl whilst choosing a map
