I bite the inside of my mouth when I play hard songs on standard.

Jesus christ the inside of my mouth hurts afterwards.

Also during breaks I press F9, but I HAVE to pause first, even if the break is uber-long.

I cannot play well without crossing my legs on my chair, even if its uncomfortable at times or my leg gets numb, I play better crossing my legs O_O"

Also, I don't use breaks to break, I use them to practice spinning. I don't even stop, I see how long I can hold a small controlled spin throughout the break

If I haven't downloaded any new maps lately (that I can remember) or if I just get really bored, I start going through my entire list of songs trying to find a map I gave up on, or anything new. Occasionally I may scan for maps that I have crappy accuracy on (osu! standard). By the way, I only have about 1800 maps, so it's not like I spend weeks going through every song o3o

I have a tendency to hop on osu! when bored or to get distracted from work to see if any of my friends are on.

During breaks, I tend to move the fruit catcher according to the rhythm in a variety of ways, as if I were practicing jumps (Ryuuta dance? lol)

For restarting rapidly, I will often hit escape, then quickly move my mouse over and click the Retry button in time with when I would've hit the next note. Sometimes my mouse will be over either the continue or quit buttons and I would accidentally click them.

There's a threshold of whether I will shiver or not depending on how much I've played osu! in the past while, how much I've played earlier that day, and on how difficult the song is. I rarely shiver if I've played osu! a lot in the past week.

I apparently/often perform better when being spectated.

I tend to panic when I'm about to beat a high score on the charts (in the Top 15) Thus I mess up; That may be why I haven't taken 10th place on Shinyaku no Yoru [Nazo] >.>

When BG have faces, during breaks I place the cursor in the eyes, or just click them. Also if BG have circles shapes where the cursor fits. @.@

Same here, I guess.....

I always seem to make circles during the breaks (or pretty much anytime now) like I'm spinning a spinner.

I press F8/F9 during breaks

I lean forward to prevent miss (I usually miss alot when I'm sitting in a laid back position)

I spin during breaks to check if my pen is still spinner functional

I remove hit 300, 100, 50 etc. for me not caring about the accuracy

Hmmm.. What I mentioned sounds common.

I always spin with right-click and spin clockwise which is recessive. I simply cannot spin counter-clockwise.

I lean forward during long spinners. My head tilts to the left during a hard map. I minimize osu! when there is a break to check my e-mail and get back as soon as the breaks about to start. :|

I've realized that I purse my lips when playing. I also hold up the slidey thing that holds my keyboard by stacking my feet uncomfortably, thus making it really still so nothing moves.

Then my left foot is rendered useless for about 6 minutes.

I overclick streams a lot. Even when they are 200 bpm or more.

Mainly because I tend to have this "auto panic mode" on as soon as I see a stream.

Oh so many.......I lean forward during spinners, I tilt my head to the left when I play hard maps, my hand starts shaking when I play a hard song, I always click really really fast, and so many more that it would take me all night to list them.

I'm glad to find out I'm not the only person who does this.

It's either that or spam click 'show chat' during breaks.

I have more than one weird habit 8D.

My heart races when i FC a hard or long map and I need some time to calm myself afterwards.
I'm doing better when someone I know spectates me during playing. When it's someone I don't know or don't like I miss and fail a lot :x
I sit with my legs up and crossed while playing.

I grease my tablet with food oil then use it as my mouse pad (Even though I play primarily with tablet :P).

-i pressed my mouse with my legs shivering when streams (and my leg is the one which is get tired, not my hands)
-i always move CTB char to the opposite side xD
-everytime someone chat with me, i will fail a song xD
-and well... i love pressing f8 and f9 xDDDD
-Taiko i keep doing opposite things orz xD
-my bone become really bad when im playing and im playing with my sight concentrated to the screen that i even dunno when someone called me xD
-i keep spinning my mouse without reason wahahaha X3

I keep checking who's online on breaks and a lot of times, on hard songs, when i play my grip strenght becomes excessive and i push down the mouse so much that the sensitivity changes drastically to fail any song when that happens

I use numpad 6/3 instead of z/x
During breaks I press F9 and accidentally click on someone so that screen appears and I acidentally delete people from friendslist D:
When I spin during breaks they're much faster than my normal spinners =3='
Sometimes I accidentally mute the volume while playing, so I need to play until the last break only listening to my finger smashing the keyboard D:

-i get nervous when ppl spectate me

-i always spin my mouse as soon as there are no more circles, in case of ninja spinners
-my heart races and tend to always make a mistake as soon as i see myself beat my record, or enter the top40 while playing
-i stare at the osu start screen just listening to songs or just zoning out
-when i want to spin really fast i have to bring my body down near my keyboard, and stare at my mouse, not the screen
-my hand shakes super nervously when i play multiplayer
-something inside me breaks when i get a 100 near the end of a song
-my fingers always 'lock up' when streaming fast songs (normally 180+bpm) after 9+ circles
-i interact with the bg during breaks, either that or spin my mouse for no real reason
-i check the beatmaps page very often to dl new maps
-after every song, i refresh the rankings page
-i blame my brother if i miss whenever he walks past me while im playing, lol

I clean my mouse area almost each time i start to play osu. I can really feel the increase in my accuracy and speed if I do that.

once I get a 500+ combo on a song I grip my mouse very hard to the point where it becomes uncomfortable or I get a break where I can reposition my hand. It only happens on really high combos, and once I miss a note I can relax.

other than that... 1024x768 on a 1080p screen?

spinning widdershins isn't that strange I don't think for right handers.

Yep, happens all the time.
When I'm playing insane maps I usually miss a hit after the part of the map I kept failing and retrying. That and when I'm about to fc something with a mod on a hard/insane map I start to blink alot and I almost let the pen slip for no apparent reason LOL

  • On streams of 200 BPM or higher, I tend to start shaking.
    I also spin spinners clockwise.
    I find HardRock mod easier with Hidden.

I place my cursor over background character eyes so they cry stars during breaks.
I get pissed off when i my fingers lock up when i do fast two beat into back and forth slider into quick 2 beat, and shout at myself and smash the esc key!
I played significantly better when osu!core was introduced and jumped in skill 2fold after - strange progress.

My arm is freezing/stopping whenever i get a higher record.

I spin clockwise (407 spin speed FTW)

I always spin my cursor when there's a break on the map

Right after I pause, I press F8

Right before the song starts, I press the space bar and I scroll my mouse wheel up and down

Me too~ Or then I like to do ∞-movement. And try to match it with the music, of course.

When doing really fast and/or long streams (and failing in them), my toes start to shake. Yeah, toes. No idea why.

Very few mentions of people tapping their foot (or rather, the heel) to the floor.

I tend to do that a lot, especially during faster beatmaps.

Even more while playing multiplayer.

Adding another that i realised i was doing last night,

Sometimes when i break my previous records early into a song due to get note streak and and pushing a high score i open my mouth and stick my tongue out. I might play with a mirror one night just to see if i look like a tool. :P

Sometimes I pretend that a map has ninjaspinners between notes that are 1/1 away from each other on the timeline. Though that's not a very consistent thing, and is really only when I'm just pooting around and not playing for super srs.
On that note, I also tend to hit notes between notes in Taiko for no reason. Watch this for more information. I can blame Cyclone for that one, I think, though I'm obviously not very good at it.
Also, if I don't start a combo with my left hand in Taiko, I go all asgadfkjdfhgdfag and fail all over it.
Oh oh, I also count how many notes are in a stream !

When i about to get #1 or get a XH rank (SS+hidden mods) arms goes numb, losing reflexes, resulting in last-note miss or nice string of 100s

I hardly ever blink when playing a srs map, yes it hurts in the post-game

I often rage-retry a song if i got 100 in the beginning of a song, even though I'm not doing a #1 run and it won't affect me much

Does spinning clockwise counts as a weird habit?

I spin small if there's an object 1/2 beat after a spinner, i spin large if there are no object post-spinner (break time or end map)

Srs play always gives me misses, while relaxed play (or just for fun play) gives me insta-FC, even as far as insta-#1

When getting a good combo, I happen to notice and get nervous. Legs shake, and my mouse movements become erratic, which results in a combo break. :cry: Also,raeg if it counts.

I always spin with right click and it's always counter-clockwise. Otherwise, I simply get edgy and nervous when it's a seriously long song and the combo is above 700.

Like many others I get too nervous when someone spectates me. It feels too uncomfortable that I start missing notes and end up stopping the game xD

Another thing is that I tend to do spinners suddenly even when there aren't any. I play with a tablet and use z/x sometimes so I keep my fingers on z and x, when I lose I start pressing them quickly to bring out the anger.

I always tap the mouse when I use the keyboard.

I find myself over using one key, even during streams.

I start a song with both hands on QW and OP, simulating my stepmania position.

I shake my head when doing spinners. It makes songs more fun. Trust me.

During the breaks, I press z on the left wall and x on the right wall.

The stars bounce off them. :P

When spinning, I lift my head, hold my breath, have a horrible face (>.<) and tense my right arm and shoulder -> this has caused me a tendonitis during June 2010 (that explains the big drop you can see in the graphic on my profile page lol). Also, my mouse is sometimes flying off the desk for more speed :D
