It's not the robot boy, it's not the monsters, the gore, characters, plot, art style, etc. In terms of atmosphere, which I'd attribute to the OST, it's pretty much unbeatable. Complements the story and concept brilliantly. Other anime have come close but there's just something special about this one.

Tsukkomi/Boke skits routine always got me... Not to mention some serious arc in that Anime is also quite Epic and heartbreaking in some.

Gurren lagann since I loved how they developed the relationship between Nia and Simon and the the vibrant personalities of the characters and espicially how the influenced each other over the series

Perhaps Steins;Gate, with the way it nicely combines lighthearted cliches and serious tones, with great cast and the way the key plot structure unfolds like a puzzle, with that classic delectable "it makes sense now" moment of putting that final piece in.
Another really cool one is Monster, which stands the test of time exceptionally well; it's the kind of anime you can quite naturally enjoy even when getting significantly older - then again it's kind of "good anime for non-anime watchers" in many senses. Interesting plot and cast, quite realistic, very good sense of atmosphere, psychology and pacing in the show

Not quite sure but I really love Haikyuu, I guess it's really thrilling to me all of the matches and how Hinata and everyone grows throughout the story as well as in the manga.

Kaguya-Sama, that was one of the first anime I've watched and I've been hooked with it!

So good, it is short, good characters and a nice plot at the end that gets anyone in tears.
I only understood the anime title in the following day I finished it, and... at that moment I could happily die.

Darker than black second season. It's commonly regarded as worse than the first season because the main character is different among other reasons but I think the way it fits in the story is perfect. The art and soundtrack are amazing + there's a cute ass loli too! Seriously though, the story in darker than black is the best I've seen, the pacing is good and every episode leaves you wanting more. Big recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it.
Attack on titan is a close second but I have a feeling it's going to plummet further in my rankings as soon as the new season comes out 😕

Shinryaku! Ika Musume - My very first anime. I started loving slice of life anime after watching this
Beelzebub - My second anime, but it was so damn good I rewatched it over than 6 times already. It is original, unique and badass
Gakkou Gurashi - The whole anime is just so scary with unexpected plot twists, but that's what makes it so good. Original and well-thought anime where nakama power concept doesn't exist
Grand Blue - It's a diving anime. Honest.
Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san - The anime is relaxing, chill and wholesome. Suits my taste perfectly. Another reason is that the MC is my numberrr 1 waifu
Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear - I haven't watched the anime yet. Only read its manga, but for sure I was really really looking forward to its anime since its trailer announcement
Himouto! Umaru-chan - It was the anime that introduced me to other anime. Character development of Umaru comparing the first episode to the last season 2 episode is noticeable that I saw her in new light. Other than that, the anime has just really nice atmosphere
New Game! - An original anime with wholesome content, this never fails to give me a smile when watching, the positivity is so bright
Shinchou Yuusha - At first, it was boring. But after watching for a while, the comedy suits the anime really well. It was the best, if not counting Grand Blue. But plot thickens, and I'm still afraid of that horrifying moment actually
