Please make sure you are running b1800 (check in the top-right hand corner of options). Run the updater if not.
I wanted to ask about friend list sorting by status... why did you take it off? I think it's useful so I just wanted to know if you're ever gonna put it back ><

Uh, a major update.
I miss the old stars and the tilt of the osu! circle, but I'm not saying the new skin is bad either. The blue bg is nice and once I got over the shock I love the courser too, although it looses a lot of it's spam click enjoyment during breaks because the center crosshair does not expand.

I like the new cursor design and I'd like to use it for my own personal custom skin. I know deleting the custom cursor will show the default one but can somebody tell me how to find the actual files so that Ii can change the colors?

it just shows splash screen- after a while beep- no error but osu!(splash screen) just freezed(tried a few times - always freezes at 26-33MB of allocated ram)
reinstalled osu! and works fine now.

Nice patch up and new features... Only one problem I've found is that when osu is looking for a song and there is some error with the map it just fubars itself and I have to restart osu. Before there would be no issue and I could play any map regardless of an audio error.
I don't like how the !where and !stats codes no longer work though.

Maybe have a toggle called "Adaptative garbage collection" for people with not a lot of ram.
Cause when a freeze happens midgame it just disturbs my flow even if it's during a break.
I have 12gb of ram and a i7 and the older way of garbage collecting worked better for me...

That's interesting; testing here showed no difference in performance... Usually the garbage collection will run on a separate thread and not affect gameplay at all, so something weird is going on there.

When I tried the test build (tried it last week) it "always" happened on the very last note before a break , now it "usually" just happens on break.
I thought it was just my machine but after a few of my friends experienced it I deducted it was the garbage collection after reading the changelog.

This is correct behaviour. It is changing your file associations to the new osu! version. Please choose test or public and keep running that (or disable UAC) if this bothers you.XPJ38 wrote:

It should still fix all lag issues during gameplay, but it has adversely added freezes during breaks to people who weren't experiencing such freezes in the first place.

If you press F2 and and you choose some of those "sorts" options, the game will crash, it happens with "Filtrar no jugados" "Filtrar no rankeados" "Filtrar rankeados".
PD: I still have mini "freeze" for about 1 to 2 seconds when changing sort option for beatmaps (Date, Artist, Difficulty, Mostrar todo), and sometimes the audio will do the same (freeze).
