Anyone else have a hard time with spelling this word? I've been modding maps for a while today, and every time I write it like 3 times before I get it right, and I've been involved with music since the 4th grade, I've seen this word thousands of times, yet the spelling is always wrong the first time I write it down. and I'm usually really good at spelling things - except for rhythm, its the one word I struggle with no longer how many times I use it.

TL;DR I have permanent Semantic satiation for the word rhythm.

English is not my first language, so every word with hard spelling is hard for me.

how well do you spell "rhyme"?

GD's probably a better place for this yea, rhyme doesn't usually give me any trouble, then again I don't have to write it quite as often.

I'm fairly good at spelling, as it was a second language in my country that I was from. But I can't seem to differentiate when and how to use "your" and "you're" properly. As I know for fact it makes a big difference.

well, if your trying to win an argument on youtube or reddit, then it matters if you're choice of your is correct, otherwise I haven't seen too many people complaining much.

Personally, I don't really find myself having trouble with this or the couple other examples mentioned here. Occasionally might stop to think for a second when trying to type up some complex word that popped up in my head but that's about it.

I always found it a bit confusing actually how much you can see these mistakes around, especially when it's people using their first language. Then again, not like native language really necessarily extends to writing I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now semantic satiation on the other hand, that's interesting stuff

fun fact; "rhythms" is the longest english word that does not contain a vowel

English is my native language but I still have trouble spelling basic words. This is relatable.
