How to organize sons by difficulty on non-std mods?

One of the reasons I never got into other modes is because I can't seem to order the songs from easiest to hardest when I'm not on std. The difficulties are displayed all weirdly and if I try to type stars<=x it sorts by the std number of stars.

Is there a way of organizing songs by non-std difficulty?

first make sure you're in the other game mode by clicking the gamemode icon in the bottom left of song select by mods
then type:
mode=o for std
mode=m for mania
mode=t for taiko
mode=c for catch
Now sorting by difficulty should work fine but you wont see any std->other mode conversions, they usually suck anyway - for mania at least idk about the other two.

honestly difficulty sorting should work just by switching gamemodes, idk if theres something wrong with your client or if youre just not actually changing gamemodes. dont forget to refresh the song sorting by changing the tab away from by difficulty and back again, or by playing a song.

Yo, it won't work though.

I uploaded this video below. It rendered black in the beginning but what I did was changing from std to mania mode (as you can see by the keyboard icon in the bottom left)

I start processing the beatmaps again, then I sort by difficulty and choose below 1 stars.
But then when I click it selects a random difficulty of a random song and acts like it's sorted by artist??

Then I try not grouping by anything and just sorting by difficulty. I choose the very fiorst map and it acts the same way.

Then I enter the map, leave and it keeps acting like that.

when you reprocessed the beatmaps, the game wasnt done doing difficulty calculations, so every map that wasnt done got put in the <1 star group. why were you reprocessing all your maps?

The beatmap difficulty calculation is still running in the background for convert map. Try to filter for osu!mania spesific map only using 'mode=m'. Convert map is not that good because the pattern is auto generated.

Oh I just assumed I had to reprocess the beatmaps in order for it to calculate the diff... It's weird because I did the exact same in catch the beat and it worked well...

So I just need to wait then and it's going to automatically sort?
Or are the maps going to be miscalculated forever now? o.o

Also, I can't sort with mode=m because uh... I don't have any mania maps. I play only std I was just trying to test the mode

Yeah, try download some mania maps if you want to try playing rather than playing convert map. But, it's okay if you just want to test, just expect some kind of awkward pattern because it's auto generated.
