This is really a must watch! I mean the way blah blah was like blah blah. Then was was like blah blah.

Dammit, I hope this doesn't get scrapped.
Reimu was perfection, tbh. Her attitude and moe moments were fantastic.
Marisa ehhhh... Not so much. She seemed way too normal compared to how she is in the games.
Aya was pretty good. I always imagined she'd have a more mature voice, but the naggy little girl appeal works for me.
Suika wasn't drunk, so there's nothing to compare her to.
China wtf. Although it is expected that some characters would get more screentime, her part is just annoying. Epic points for Sakuya calling her by her real name though.
Sakuya seemed pretty steriotypical, it would be good to see her fight though. ZA WARUDO.
Patchouli was epic, but it would have been better if she had a more lazy voice, like Clannad's Kotomi.
Remilia.... yeah, she was pretty good too, although she looks way too young.
LOL WIKIPEDIA.
Animation quality overall was better than the Ghibli films. I like the style, and it'll be interesting to see fanart of it.
Sound effects need work.

Yukari, Cirno, Alice and Flandre are pretty much confirmed for later eps.
This could set a new example for anime if they don't fuck it up.
They did a good job introducing characters in a small time, too. At this rate, if there's any more than 4 eps, the IN crowd will play a part.

Also is it just me or are the DVD menus better than any non-doujin DVD?

Haven't really bothered to load the disc up yet (I'll do it on New Year's), but I'm amazingly surprised at the seiyuus Maikaze managed to bring to what amounts to a fanon work. Gensokyo.org has the full list, including some previous parts, but sheesh, how'd they land the VA who did Mai in Mai-HiME?

It's just too bad that they couldn't get more than one episode out. But, whatever, I can't complain.

I wonder if they'll get Suika drunk next episode.

Also, that one book in the Voile Library must have one point font or something... Or it's the first edition.

Also, on Remilia looking too young--she's supposedly a physical age of 10, right?

Holy shit marisa solo scores VERY fucking high. Also i did horrible on the final boss with her. Lost about 5 lives on the final boss -_-

Coulda easily made it over 2 billion, but i blew it.

Wow. I can't figure out how to put the English patch into IN. When I tried it kinda messed up my exe where I can't even get into the game no matter what I try anymore. Good thing I had a back up IN folder. Haha :?

I was having the same problem for a while... I don't even know what fixed it, I just played through the game on easy mode, exited, and tried patching. Worked perfectly, that time. Just make sure you've got the updated version of IN

So I replayed SA to try to get the rust off my Touhou skills.

1cced Easy, tho there were some (9) moments, especially when I died twice on Stage 6 Orin trying to find the safe spots in the formation.

Failed at Yukari's second Spell Card on Normal. FFFFFF....

Replays up when I feel like digging around my folders for them.

I thought the name was a bit suspicious... The first part seems entirely lifted from the second game, "Story of Eastern Wonderland"! Bad PC-98 memories....

Of course, I've only gone through the first stage right now, but just brought that up.

EDIT: Aw man, it is SoEW! Well, at the very least, I got farther than I usually do in this game... Which isn't saying much...

In other news, SWR 1.06 patch. Get it.
Also there's a Weather translation patch, but I haven't tried it yet as it has been reported to fuck with the player pallets.

Also regarding the torrents/DDLs, doujin soft are not protected by copyright law, as most doujin are technically illegal.
Touhou doesn't have any copyright protection, and for some reason, ZUN is fine with it.
That remake is a copy of a game that isn't copyrighted, making it fine to redistribute over the internet.

Of course, if peppy or any other high-up mod wishes for the download links to be removed, it is only natural that one should honor that decision.

Also, I havent put much time into touhou or its fightan gaems, but considering this and the fact this other forum i visit plays online regularly, might as well. Getting my ass handed to me horribly is the best way to learn imho

Tried PCB Normal. Lost a Continue to Youmu boss, decided not to continue. Went for PCB Extra, and managed to make it past "Banquet of 12 General Gods" before getting wiped.

Yesterday, PoFV Normal with Medicine. Managed a 1cc of Normal, which is practically a massive accomplishment in itself, apparently. Yay for spamming L2 attacks to get rid of those damn stick bullets. Tried PoFV Extra, lost to Tewi (which I haven't done in a long while).

And I can only assume if I fight you guys in SWR, I'll lose more than 2/3rds of the battles.

My older brother beat PCB extra and phantasm. (200+ retrys on Extra and 100+ retrys on phantasm)
He did it with Sakuya A and while he was doing it he was really really angry. :?

Normally I don't do anything other than 1ccs, but I just finished 3ccing IN Hard's A path. Now I think I can unlock another couple of Last Words if I can manage a cap of Hourai Elixer.

EDIT: ...Just half a second more. Fuck you Reimu.

By the way, i'm sorry for any downtime there is for my hamachi server. My roommate and I don't have a router yet, so we have 2 ethernet ports to share between our 6 or so devices. Also i took down the Ventrilo server, since nobody is using it.

Are you sure there can be downtime on the server? I mean people can still play on the server even if the person who created the server goes offline and such (Sorry if I misunderstood that part.) And you don't have to apologize, rarely anyone gets on your server 'cept me most of the time.

Due to computer troubles that have been steadily increasing over the past year, I have been and will be unable to utilize my laptop (and, by proxy, the interwebs and SWR) until at the very least, Saturday. I'm not sure what went wrong, but unfortunately, it's been fucking up my computer and now I can't even play osu! or watch TV.

Cyclone, if you would, please delete the Slain087 Hamachi IP 5.4.159.120. It's a remnant of my forgetting to uninstall Hamachi before I reset my computer.

And it should be one more day before I am able to get back up SWR. Not sure if it will succeed or not, but what the hell. There's always torrents.

Oh man...
My internet was down for two days, so I spent the whole time playing Touhoumon and watching pre-downloaded anime.

I'm at the league, but I can't get past the third one (Agatha, I think?), also, this is the team I'm gonna keep. After I've completed the English one, I plan on converting them to VBA codes for use in the Japanese ones, which have epic stuff like Gensokyo-based locations and catchable darks.

Actually, disregard that. Both Reisen and Rin got in the top 40, so yay.

I need a secondary but I've just been enjoying reisen, I hardly ever care about how good a character is when choosing a main.

Rumia isn't very noticeable. Her spell cards are easy even on insane, and people often confuse her with Shanghai and NF. I actually didn't even know she existed until I played StB.

In other news, I tried IN on insane, and I've kinda decided to keep playing until I 1cc it.
