Originally displayed in the #announce of the "xxx has become an osu! supporter - thanks for your generosity!" to appear in the # osu!

and Increase the text Indicate passing all supporter donations from the month of March on to Japanese Red Cross....


Perhaps this can enhance the effect of publicity :roll:

I'd donate, but I can't since I'm too young to have a credit card and my mom won't donate for me... She has trust issues. :/

A huge thanks to Azure_Kyte for his $1,000 donation.

I'm hoping we can hit at least $5000, and at this rate that should be possible. Thanks to everyone who has chipped in so far! I will announce the final amount at the end of the month :).

I'd like to donate, but unfortunately, i don't have a card and cannot register paypal (I'm 16, and paypal is only from 18)... But I hope that everything is going to be alright. Praying for Japan. >:(

Well google decided it was going to be difficult, but after 2 days of fighting with google checkout, my donation is finally through!

I really hope things start turning for the better soon. (If it counts towards the $5000 goal, I donated $40.)

there havent a China option of the location D:

as far as i kown people who live in China use a card which just can be available for China
many people cant apply for a credit card since they are under 18
but i find a new way to donate to japan

i find CN Red Cross online donation has added a new option for Japan
if you want to donate on the way, plz ensure that you select the option of Japan
also you may donate to Yingjiang,Yunnan
the Red Cross Society of China...
in this way , you can use a Union Pay card or Master Card.

pay attention to some things if you want to donate

on the other hand , just send a msg to the Red Cross Society of China for donation . it wll be convenient for you.

but as peppy said...
im unsure that Japan will get that money recently
anyway , i believe that CN Red Cross will make it

and in this way , you will not get a supporter tag.
this is just my opinion , but maybe you can help Japan with anti-disaster

If you don't have a credit card, you can use a simple bank transfer to your Paypal account. That's how I did it and as long as you have a bank accout, you should be able to as well :D

I have no way of donating right now, but I really wish I could, and not just for the supporter tag but because japan needs it.

Donating to them is another option.

Correct, they have since announced their support. Note that I will not honour donations to US red cross, though.

I've donated a 1-year-support, to help Japan :D and i appreciate osu so much for doing this. i hope to get to donate again next year exclusively for osu!

As for the Japanese osu players and for all japanese i hope sincerely to them to be able to recover from this catastrophe soon enough, the Japanese are strong and united they can rebuild a new and even better Japan from the ashes and they have my thought and everyone's with them we are rooting for them. best of luck

Thanks to everyone for their contributions. As March is now over, donations will be returning to normal (ie. not being sent to Japan). If you wish to support Japan, please do so by donating directly to JRC.

I will post another announcement once I have totalled figures and sent money, for those who wish to know how much we managed to raise :).
