Would you be able to attach the osu file in question? I'm not exactly sure what you are having trouble with there..

Have you watched the video tutorial, and are sure you have the timings setup correctly?

Either ways -- if you post the osu someone here will be able to help you get on track :).

p.s. Its 2:38am and I need sleep so I won't be able to help until the morning *)

Let me explain better..

When I save the file i'm using

BPM - 120,5
offset - 388

slider - 1,50

I save the file.. then I try to play it..

Sliders are super fast!

I come back to the editor, I open the song and i discover that the slider velocity is now 150.000.000.000.004,00

THIS IS THE FILE.. the two versions are identical

EDIT - I also tried to delete every osu file, start again, draw a slider, and save it..
the slide is always too fast than i wanted to..

This is no doubt my fault. I will have this fixed for tonight's release, promise!

(This is another localization issue which i guess i missed )

Thanks JacoPOP

You're welcome.. but..

is this happening only to me?

Quite possibly - it is all about the way your PC is reading/writing numbers. As I can see from your post, the way you use ',' and '.' is opposite to what is expected by osu!. This should have been fixed earlier this week, but it seems I missed it.

It will definitely be fixed tongiht, though!

In fact here in Europe we use another way to divide numbers..

EUR - 12.000 (twelve thousand)
12,5 (twelve and a half)

Is it the same in Australia :?:
Maybe the OS compute it in another way..
peppy
AU and a fair portion of the western world uses the exact opposite:

12,000 (twelve thousand)
12.5 (twelve and a half)

Anyways -- I found this bug and fixed it! Will be up in the next build (~8hours)
