I was gonna post my kudosu numbers when it hit 700 but checked too late. Firetruck.


It's a number that doesn't really matter but I like I reached that milestone.

oversimplifying explanation. its like how much mods you have done, in the past it is used for Star Priority for your maps which is the Hype button today. i'll leave the in-depth explanation to the others.

as far as I'm aware of, kudosu doesn't really do anything these days

yeah sadly... it's only for flexing now

though 700 kudosu was pretty flex worthy pre-modding v2 it's kind of "lol who cares" right now

Flex number right now is like 1.5k+ kudosu

Very true... in modern era.

My pre-modding v2 kudosu count I don't even remember. I just remember when I hit 300 it was a big deal before V2 was a thing

Not anymore. You used to be able to give maps stars with your kudos. Now, it's all based around 'hype'

The only purpose of kudosu now is just a numeric badge of how many points people felt were useful, at the very least

to be fair it's not hard to get like 10x kudosu per mod from mv2
though looking at current kudosu top 50 the threshold is still only a bit above 2k even if the top numbers are more than 3x that so I guess that number is somewhat reasonable

but yea on the other hand being in kudosu top 50 during mv1 showed you had done quite the respectable amount of modding, now that was worth a flex if you were so inclined
