Add a minimalist skin option to default install.

Suggestion: Add a skin to the default installed game that represents what most recurring osu! players experience when they play the game.

Why: New player retention! By eliminating the barricade of finding, downloading, and installing an aftermarket skin to allow new players to experience the game as most recurring players do those new players are more inclined to return to the game beyond that first play.

The bigger the recurring player base is, the more support the game receives financially as well as community support to further grow this amazing game.

i like the idea but which skin, theres a crap ton of minimalist skins and what if the player is confused with game play because they don't have all the game play elements highly visible. If you can give me a good reason how it can help than it'll be great but it feels like it'll only be more difficult for new players

The simplify 1.0 skin for example would be perfect. Applying the skin should also effect the common changes recurring players play with (dimming, combo burst off, etc). The minimal skin allows the new player to focus on exactly what is important to being successful with the game namely timing and accuracy while removing all the pretty distractions. This makes the game more accessible to the new player who can than venture beyond that simple skin once they have grasped the fundamentals of the gameplay.
