Background wont appear

Whenever i set my background in my beatmap it doesnt show at all im using a mp4 is there supposted to be another type of video file or something? it doesnt do anything i click and drag into the beatmap nothing still plain please help asap

Make sure you have "Show video" option ticked in the view menu
