How much intro time is rankable (time before map starts)

(Sorry if this is the wrong place and mapping questions need to be somewhere else)

Ranking criteria says "If you do not beatmap the last 20% of your beatmapset's audio file, it must be cut. The intro time is not included. This does not apply if more than 20% of the outro is occupied by a storyboard/video."

But how much not-mapped time is okay for before the map starts?

There is no limit on how much unmapped drain time you can have before the map actually starts, the "intro" can basically be as long as you want

as long as its under 20% of the map its rankable.
