Right Imma get a random question

How many fingers can you successfully snap?
Achromalia
three.

how many skeletons does it take to finish a speech?
Keiga
One, though I can't say they're very humerus speeches.

Cats or dogs except it's frogs or capybaras. Choose.

You have 10 hours to accomplish a masterwork of human expression and emotion.

What medium do you choose and how do you manage it?
Achromalia
It's kind of cheating, but animation.

In animation, you can do *almost everything*.

Add music, and a good story, fitting frames and amazing perspective and shiiit, you might have just made 2% of the human population cry, scream, and laugh if it's good enough.

An easily effective medium of expression.

That's what I want to ultimately do.

I make music. I make art.

I want to make music with art, and art with music.

I want to make an animation series someday.

Maybe I'll be able to express myself best once I can reach that ultimate goal.

same question.
Tad Fibonacci
I was never good at expressing emotions and such. But if I were to choose one then I'd pick literature.
Words describing things are sometimes even more powerful than pictures and scenery imo, since the audience has to engage in it by imagining the things that are written on paper.

Regarding how I would manage it, then I wouldn't know either. I haven't written anything interesting in my life yet so it would be ridiculous to say that I can manage to write a masterwork of art in 10 hours.

What is your opinion on wars as a whole? And how did it affected humanity in your opinion.
Carmlillball
Wars are terrible. I dislike death as a whole. Even if for a cause.

Sq
ERA Puzzle
War is disastrous and disgusting and frankly disturbing through and through. The issue is I can't see it as anything but a necessity for humanity as a kind of growing pain. It was, and probably still will be for a while, a necessary thing, just because we don't really understand how to *not* do it. Which just... It's just sad. The whole thing is usually sad, and stupid. Even if wars are fought for a "good" cause... It's obviously just a way to solve a human problem that we can't find any other way to fix. That's the real problem. Human issues. We're flawed. Hence, the necessity of war.

What's a piece of media that you relate to a lot? Do you mind sharing it? A book, a piece of art, a poem, music, a movie. Anything that really carries a message to you.
Carmlillball
I've related to quite a lot of songs. However, there's not one which I relate to all of the time. Depends on mood and events.

Music. There are a few things. The one I've related to the most in recent times is Rashisa by Super Beaver. The lyrics are wonderfully relatable for me.

relatable
(Hey boy, what’s your name?)

[Real name Chong San, who are you?]

(I’m teacher San, rap genius

The present of the things you’ve been called before

Or your self, yes, now,

what symptoms brought you here?)

[Getting right to the point: I’m in pain

I’m definitely not happy, you could say that I’m close to being unhappy

My body is not sick though, no wait, I think my body isn’t well either

For a while now I’ve been woken up not by my alarm but by excessive nightmares and drugs]

(Overdose, I get it, do you need more drugs?)

[I’m already taking enough as it is

All kinds of stimulants and in order to put those to sleep:

Zolpidem & Xanax, is it common case?]

(You have indeed a problem, tell me more)

[I don’t know myself either, I’m easily unnerved

I have mood swings and a defensive attitude

Without pills I can’t sleep and I suffer from discontent and anxiety

That pressure calls for all kinds of means, I try to make an effort

and stop taking everything for a while but withdrawal symptoms appear right away and it ends without much effect]

(And then?) [I vent my distress on my surroundings]

(And then?) [The situation drives me to the edge]

(No doubt) [I overdo things, striving for perfection I torture myself and my family]

(I see, what do you want?) [I want to go back]

[But wait, you a doctor?]

(Well, you can see me that way

Shall we start the counseling?

We’ll dig until the end, go deeper)

●Yo ayo what the fuck are you doing?

You don’t need no advice

You a strong soldier, you forgot?

This counseling shit is bullshit

He’s not even a real doctor

All you need is more pills

Seriously, you gotta wake up●

Verse 2:

(Wake up, hey you okay?)

[Oh my bad, I was thinking about something else there]

(Don’t lose me, here’s a little test

I have prepared a few questions here

So check them honestly)

(1. Do you want everyone to like you?

2. Is it your mother who likes your lyrics the most?

3. Do you prefer the good old days?

4. Do you exchange your thoughts for money?)

[Uhm … uhm …I already know, all above]

(What do you want to hear first, good news, bad news?)

[The good ones] (It’s not an illness, you just lost your way

Your compass isn’t broken)

[And the bad news?] (Hmm … It’s fucking obvious but

you have to overcome it yourself, there is no easy way)

(Is that your answer?)

[Well kind of, when you ask someone else

for an answer, all you get is unsatisfactory advice anyway

Drugs just make you dependant so it’s a fight with yourself

No, a war. You have to be determined to get well, it might be hard]

(Your whole body will be in pain, are you scared?)

[Hell yeah, but what is more frightening

is burying my thoughts in the casket of pleasing others

The rhymes I’ve written down are so different from who I am,

lyrics that would have been cool if BewhY had rapped them

Those lyrics shoot at the reflection

of my face in the mirror, like The Picture of Dorian Gray]

(Woah woah, don’t be hard on yourself

If you milk [a cow] too much you draw blood, not milk

I hope you will recover, let us end the counseling

You can wake up)

■Wake up wake up wake up bro, wake up bro, wake up!

What the f … What are you muttering to yourself like this?

Did you take something again yesterday?

Oh my God, seriously man

Shouldn’t you go to the hospital?

You didn’t sleep and you seem completely strange

I know someone I can introduce you to, shall I?

Call this number now, call it right now!■

[Hello, I’d like to make an appointment …

Hello? This is the hospital, right?] ●Yes, go on●

[How is Wednesday at 3PM?] ●That’s not possible●

[Then when is it possible?] ●What is it about?●

[I think I need counseling] ●Do you need drugs?●

[No no, I don’t need any drugs, I think I need counseling. Hello? Hello?]

●That is absolutely impossible … Mr. Chong San

WAKE UP!●

What are you looking forward to most in the next month? Year?

Music is one of mine as well.

I don't normally listen to music w/ vocals, but some songs can have enjoyable lyrics i can somewhat relate to that often work quite well. These ones, especially.

Himeringo - "Miss Wanna Die/Shinitai-chan"

Nekobolo - "Self-inflicted Achromatic"

Hyi - "Misery"

Intronaut - "Killing Birds With Stones"

OT: EDIT. SHIT. I GOT FUCKING NINJA'D. I'LL FIX IT LATER.

I hope to have released something within the next month.

I hope to be working on an album by next year.

What genres of music do you know of? What do you think of each of them?
payney
this question is probably more general than intended but ill do my best to answer it

electronic - probably the least familiar with this overall, there are a lot of good sounds that come from it but it just doesnt strike me enough to actually explore all the unique sub-genres

country - yikes. im sadly more familiar with country than i’d have ever wanted. there’s never really been much of anything that’s interesting about it either. country rap, country pop, country anything, it’s pretty much all the same. i got my tractor and a beer, now it’s time to plow a field or maybe ur girlfriend.

rock - there are a lot of good things about rock as a genre generally, but i feel like its better once u actually break it down. modern rock n roll specifically is kinda garbage but 80s/90s rnr slaps and will always slap. theres also a lot of alternative stuff thats been poppin recently that i could get into.

metal - iffy. it really depends because i think some of it can be really good, but most of the genre isnt too appealing to me. specifically death metal, i feel as though the idea is a lot cooler than the music it comes out as.

pop - a lot of modern pop is really bland, tasteless, not much of anything music. but that doesn’t mean that overall the genre is bad by any means. i’ve seen the term “anti-pop” thrown around at some of the actual good music in this genre and songs that fall into that are usually pretty interesting and unique. mm good shit👌🏻💯

rap - now we’re here. i spend a lot of my time diving into different subcultures of rap. emo rap, rap metal, trap, lyrical, mumble, u name it. it’s definitely true that every region has it’s own style of rap and with that comes their own quirks and other things u can pick up on. u can argue that meh all rap is the same meh its all about guns and violence and drugs and fuckin my girl, but i’d personally disagree. there are a lot of different sounds coming out of the genre and i find it more interesting than most other music

Metal: I know a lot about metal! Alternative metal, Nu-Metal, Aliencore, Pirate Metal.. You name it, I listen to it! I know a ton of different bands and songs in metal!

Rock: Another amazing genre! I also know a lot of rock!

Pop: I know a bit. I like it because it's catchy. I don't tend to be interested of the lyrics. I prefer French and Russian pop to English. However, Justin Timberlake is quite good. Sam Smith's alright too, though I prefer his older music.

Rap: This is a genre I'm quite unfamiliar with. From what I know, I don't like it.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

yeah, totally, i look forward to screaming-- no.

...i guess my answer's kinda typical of me.

i hope to become an animator, good enough to properly animate a series that describes the shit that's been in my head all my life, to describe the human condition, to delve a little into philosophy, to improve someone's life while also being a way to escape from life, as any other creative medium would do.

it's a way to express myself while still trying to help others. maybe it'll help someone who's gone through enough shit and believes they're a psychopath just because of apathy. maybe they'll be able to see that it's possibly for apathy to be healthy, and that you can improve yourself as a person, and deal with shit, and that you're not a total machine, that you're still human. that you have potential, provided the means and the willpower.

i really want to to work towards making this happen. i just want to accomplish this one thing. it's currently my ultimate goal in what i do, but i can still go further. if i have the skills to animate one series, i can do so much more.

i'm lucky enough to say that i have something i look forward to in life, even if i consider my nihilistic point of view that death voids all worth.

but that's also a part of the animation.

anyways, that's what i aspire to do with the time i've got to live.

Is there a fear you have, you wish to overcome eventually?
Carmlillball
This may seem ridiculous, but socialising and the outside world. I've always feared these, and I'm working towards easing it, with guidance.
ERA Puzzle
People accepting me, I guess, but honestly I'm already working on that and it's not nearly as bad as it was like a month ago. The only other thing I can even think about is climate change. Not much else really scares me. Climate change is pretty fucking terrifying though.

SQ
Carmlillball
Just something to consider, though, which may help. The Earth's temperature has been fluctuating for years. The Earth'll be extremely warm at some point, but then the temperature will dip. Also, it's technically not global warming, it's climate change, as not the entire planet seems to be heating up.

i don't know. i'd have a hard time finding anything i would be deathly afraid of. fear doesn't really register very strongly for me.

fear, or rather something i have an aversion to.

that's the best i can do. in which case...

my own apathy. it fucks things up when i need to find motivation, and fail to react appropriately to things. i'm told i behave like a robot.

my monotone voice, my answers, my in-depth conversations, my lack of expressive emotion.

What I want most in the world is probably protection for my family, I hold most dear my family. Nah would never make that trade, hard answer to begin with.

What's an aspect of a personality you absolutely cannot stand?
Achromalia
A bit difficult to answer.

I suppose anyone who's dismissive of perspectives or reasoning. The type of person to groan for you to shut up when you explain something for them.

Something like that.

Or someone, especially an authority figure, who uses their title to belittle you or your reasoning. "They have the title, therefore, you're wrong".

There's traits like these that are bothersome, but I'm not certain which specifically I can't stand. Sounds a bit powerful, and I rarely have strong feelings anyways. Most of these kinds of people are easy to get past and move on with.
