Question regarding notes during sliders

I'm having an issue with a certain type of note combination in osu!mania.
How do I properly hit notes such as this? (I play mainly in 4K mode).

I usually can hit the start of it and the middle notes just fine, but it seems I get a lesser rating regardless of what I do when the slider ends (together with a note); releasing the slider as I hit the normal note, releasing it when I release the normal note, doesn't matter.

This has prevented me from getting quite a few S ranks. What do I do, exactly?

you press the note on time, you release the note on time

the release timing on the LN is unrelated to the jacks in your example pattern.

If you can play those jacks without the long note present and you can play the long note without the jacks present, its just a matter of recognizing the patterns and playing them normally.

Play some LN-focused maps for practice on your release timings or some jack-heavy maps and this type of pattern should come to you naturally

try releasing the 'slider' (ln) a bit earlier. like you see the little block at the start and the end of the ln? try releasing it just when it hits the beginning of the block, not later. i had problems with this too when i started
