it's only going to lead to more threads being created about the same thing if someone's question thread gets no replies long enough that it falls off the page 1 of, let's say GNR. Instead of bumping it just gets remade. How is that better? So what's going to happen, it's okay to have multiple threads - by the same person - about the same question, or will mods just be locking them and linking them to a thread that they can't even bump.
