So I'm sitting at my shaky desk playing Osu right, just your ordinary night. On my desk is a sealed cola can. (Not opened yet). Roughly 4-6 hours later, 2:30am , COCA COLA BONANZA!!! The thing fkn exploded!!!! Coca Cola literrally on everything within 1 meter raidus. Yes, it covered everything, up and down! Needless to say i cleaned everything, my monnitor was the only casualty, fortunatley....(?)
The can was tornn open from the side, top still completley sealed.

THEORY: After tapping for hours on the slightly shaky desk, the can built up pressure, as if shook. Upon getting out of my chair i bumped the desk, ever so slighly but enough to trigger the can innto blowing up..???

Quite interesting and unfortunate, cleaning such a mess must have been hell. What happened to the monitor?

How hot was your room? I've shook and bumped cans before, but when they're cold.

What about keyboard? The cola seeping in between buttons and making all sticky will be pleasant for no one.

Everything is good as new, i was using a 42" TV as a monitor for about 2 days, then the monitor started working again :) But still, like whaat lol. Annd no it wasntn hot or anything out of the ordinary. pretty nuts thhough. Picture your own reaction of a can suddenly spritzing everywhere xD But i am surprised that this has never been menntioned! I cant possibly be the only one to have soft drink cans onn my desk, right? I have pictures too but i cant figure out how to link it here

If I leave any soft drinks on my desk they're usually already open. They'd go warm if not left in the fridge. Abraker's room temp argument has a valid point and was probably a factor.
