Hey there. It's been some time since I last posted anything.

During the last 6 years or so, ever since I resigned from my position to BAT and stopped playing, I kept mapping, since I didn't want to abandon my favorite hobby, of course - and during this time, I ended up with quite a few 'doodles' which I wanted to show off. However, I no longer wanted to upload beatmaps online, since that always lead to some sort of commitment to follow up from them (which I no longer had time for), and also, I couldn't upload as many as I wanted without them being ranked - back then graveyarded beatmaps would also have been deleted after some time, though I'm unsure if that's still a thing (everything's changed so much). For this reason, I decided to upload these beatmaps but keep them off the grid, having no intention whatsoever for ranking, and just doing it with the sole purpose of showing off the beatmap design, hopefully so these doodles become something more and aren't lost into oblivion.

I've already worked on this for quite some time, 6 years isn't just a 'little bit of time' - but at the same time, I don't consider I've done enough beatmaps, as I've been juggling together life, school, work, everything else. I have now decided to post this here, to have a little bit of (hopefully healthy) exposure and more people can enjoy them, as well as incite discussion or feedback on this.

A few things to consider:

1. As I've been mapping alone, without any sort of input from the community at all, these maps are vastly different from what you find nowadays. I have gained a different perspective on mapping and now look at them in a different light. Some people have called it old-school, and I'm sure many people won't like them at all - but I do know other people are able to enjoy them as well, this is the main reason I think it merits a thread of its own. If you decide to take a look, but are a heavy player on modern maps, hopefully you can keep an open mind and this can give you a fresh perspective on beatmapping. If you happen to dislike them, I'll also be glad to hear you out so long as you can provide good criticism with solid bases (I won't say I will change the map, but can take it into consideration for future maps). Just please don't make it a regular mod like any, that's not something I miss from the early days.
2. Sadly, since investing enough time for a single difficulty has proved challenging enough, most of these beatmaps only consist of the highest difficulty possible - which I consider is the way I can most closely convey the feeling of a song.
3. Some people have asked me to upload these maps on the website, and of course, I don't want to limit myself either into not being a part of the community once more, however, since my time will remain to be limited I prefer to keep them this way for now, unless there's overwhelming support for it (for example, with the Rap God map, which has managed to get views on YouTube all by itself).
4. I have uploaded several videos on my YouTube channel, this is so you can give it a quick glance without having to import the beatmap and everything. Once you take a look, if you want to try it out you can download it with the following links or alternatively on this blog (I know it's sad to see just a random Blogger template for that). For the newest maps, though, unfortunately I haven't had the chance to upload videos just yet since my computer isn't capable, I'm working on it to have them ready.
5. This isn't a project where I accept contributions, or even say there's a definite list of songs that are going to end up on this list - it's all actively happening and changing around, based on what maps I can finish. Roughly I aim to have at the very least, one beatmap released a month.

Now, one last thing, I'm pretty out of touch in regards to the new forum rules - so forgive me if this isn't the right place to post this. Every time a new beatmap is released I will post here. I know as well this post is kinda sucky, I'm open to suggestions as to how to make it more readable or better looking.

this project is quite impressive, considering that not a lot of people could be so committed and dedicated in things.

and don't mind about the formatting anyway, it's quite tidy in the current state actually.

I do hope to release at least a few more WIPs that I already had sitting around for a while within the next few days.

I followed the recommendation and I've uploaded a few maps to my pending section. It doesn't mean that I'll try to push them for ranking, the main idea is so at least they're available in osu!'s servers. However, I may be interested to push my maps for ranking later on, if time allows.

I've also appended twenty one pilots - Lane Boy to the list.

Legends is Back

Honestly Gens, thank you so much for uploading your offline beatmaps ~ Now I've been finally able to play them with my friends on multiplayer. Before, it was so hard to convince to download your maps from some shady link, but now its so simple, so nice <3 I love them, and I hope you can even get some of these ranked.

I do also have other two maps which are aiming for ranked, but I'm going to hold off for those until I can get to upload them in around 15 days more.
