od setting is weirdly accurate, just go for 8 the 0.3 difference won't make any difference sincerely, I don't remember why I piked 7.7 xDDD, I wanna use 7.5, because this have many triples and streams (and, for smooth spread)

  1. 00:12:981 (9) - is really hard to interpret but i don't have any more simple alternative at hand that would still make sense so im basically just saying that i think this is unnecissarily hard to comprehend Its easy in play, not problematic (I take a lot of testplays, Im 100% sure of this)

with the amount of 1/4 in insane i think this diffi s cleearly lacking active 1/4 and has too many of 00:38:581 (1) - these things, alternating between triples and 1/4 sliders would be way better for starters I'm not 100% agree, I feel this hard with not many triples is better for spread because speed: Kiai section feels very fast, adding triples there will be not nice imo
  1. 00:05:581 (1) - this is completely offthrowing because you were ignoring all the clap stuff so i think forcing this clap on players just isn't worth it so i'd recommend just mapping 00:05:781 - only My intention with this slider is not for clap, but for 00:05:781 - This sound feels cool in a slider tail, its why I placed this there.
  2. 00:10:281 (2) - no idea what you mapped this slider head to the next white tick is way more interesting than it That is because guitar strings, in preparation to 00:11:781 (1,2,3) -

  • 00:12:581 - triple with a single color ... (this criteria was changed ._.) oox isn't hard at all when it stands alone. This criteria got never changed. It was just an recommendation in the past to keep it simple.

    00:18:081 - this triple seems innapropriate ... have more sound in next triples. Not sure what you mean with inappropriate, but should be no problem here especially since it stays in connection with upcoming tripplets.

    00:51:981 - I think this note does not follow a sound, delete it. It doesn't, but that's not what I intend to do at all. It is evenly used and in connection with upcoming duplet, so it should be fine here.

    00:52:981 - this part have sound for a triple. Finish is fine as well.

    00:55:181 - Same as 00:51:981-
    00:58:381 - Same same as before

I'm also joining Oko about some finisher usage on Oni. As he state, maybe just deleting those 2 would be better : 00:01:981 - 00:08:381 -

  1. 00:00:381 - 00:13:181 - Even tho this part is more dense than the muzu, maybe you shouldn't skip those kind of note ? (it's even mapped on muzu) 00:00:781 - 00:03:981 - 00:07:181 - etc...
  2. 00:59:781 (1,2,1,1,2,1) - the kkdk kd flow pretty well, but according to your pattern on the kiai, I'm pretty sure you're following the melody. However, this one is skipping this note : 01:00:181 - . Maybe try kkddk d or another pattern which map this note 01:00:181 - .
  3. 01:01:381 (1,2,1) - this kkd to map this melody note 01:01:481 - is kinda unexpected. You used kd on blue tick to map those kind of melody. This one is the only one on the kiai mapped this way. I'd highly suggest you to just change it into kd starting on blue tick. However, if you do so, it'll flow kinda weird with this 01:01:081 (1,1) - . To avoid this, I'd also suggest you to delete this note 01:01:081 (1) - ; or move it 1/4 earlier (but I think just delete it would be better)
  4. 01:02:381 (1,2) - I can understand why you want to use K K on muzu, but on oni, it's quite weird to me, when those 2 notes have similar pitch 01:01:981 (1,1) - .
  5. 01:48:581 (2) - In my opinion, this note 01:48:581 (2) - could have a better emphasis if the triplet were to be ddk.
  6. 02:01:681 - Maybe add a kat here to represent the unique guitare sound ?
  7. 02:15:981 (1,2,3,4) - 02:03:781 (1,2,3,4,5) - I'd highly suggest you to make those pattern similar.

I just deleted a note at 00:52:781 (10) - in the Muzukashii since it felt out of place. There was not another note on such stanza before. It's more consistent now. After that I think we are ready. At least I have nothing else to say.

00:24:181 (3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - 00:28:181 (4) - could be circles only i think that would fit better too or at least sth like 00:34:581 (4,5,6,7) -
01:29:981 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - 01:34:381 (3) - can be deleted 01:30:581 (2) - can be circle slider or whatever variation you want

this will reduce the clutter in the map and make it easier to read while still keping it it more interesting because you vary more

Applied all not all exactly as noted. For example 00:15:581 (4,5) - I changed to two 1/1 notes to reduce slider spam and 00:24:181 (4) - was reduced to a 3/2 slider to get that clap at 00:24:781 - thus also added a 1/2 slider at 00:25:181 (5) -
01:33:781 (2,3,4) - This pattern was also changed due to the suggestions before. Also made a few minor hitsound and anchor point QoL changes.

Hm, I'm not quite sure if you ment it like this. Because if so, I would rather keep the pattern as it is since it's consitent to 00:12:481 (1) - and 00:24:281 (2) - and plays and sounds quite fine to me due to this. It is also fitting to those 3/4 sounds. One may argue why I didn't map 00:14:681 - then, but it is for contrast purpose between 1/2 <-> 1/4 sections.

You use some claps on non-white ticks when generally using them for the 2nd and 4th white ticks (the usual drum pattern) and it kinda sounds messy since it feels like you're using hte same hitsound for various different sounds. I suggest not using a regular soft clap on the following and instead using like a normal clap or a drum-something

00:17:781 - should not have clap
00:24:181 - should not have clap either.
00:27:381 -

isn't 01:31:181 - this little section missing claps? Not sure why you start using them starting on 01:36:381 - instead of on the bookmark since the music doesn't really change anything outside of introducing the melody? but that level of intensity had claps earlier in the map. so this feels really strange to me.

hard -

this is not the reason for the dq mod, but I figure I'll point it out anyway.

rhythm here seems really underwhelming to me. the song has a melody that utilizes blue ticks (with sounds like 00:39:881, 00:43:081 - ) but these are completely ignored in the mapping. I guess this is your choice, but I want to point this out since I think the map will be nicer if you map to the blue tick rhythms instead of skipping them for mapping the background instruments. Your choice though.

like, you even map to it sometimes (like with 00:57:981 (2) - )

01:29:981 - not sure why this section aint using claps when it's the same intensity as some of the earlier sections that used claps. randomly starting them up again for 01:33:581 - when there's no noticeable distinction in the music from the previous section is a very peculiar decision. if you could explain it that would be great.

Disqualifying so we have some time to address these mods.

Some other things I spotted:
- Easy's combo colour 3 seems to be different to all of the other diffs for some reason.
- Hard: 00:37:081 (1) - 01:54:181 (1) - The ranking critera recommends 1 beat for spinner recovery time. It would be a good idea to adjust these if possible, especially for the latter one as the next note starts near the top edge which may be a little tricky for lower level players.

Also feel like -7 is better for offset instead of -10. The stuff about the claps seem like minor but valid points to me.

Fixed the combo colour 3 in Easy diff, and clap things in all diffs.


About the spinners in Hard, considering the BPM of this song (150, when the RC use 160 as base), I feel the recovery time appropriate, so I did not changed this.
Other suggestion about rhythm was not applied because I am not agree.

About 01:45:274 (4,5,6) - in the last diff, it is not high spaced, it is 1.0x, the same space used in 01:46:874 (4,5,6) - , I personally find this more comfortable that by example 01:35:974 (7,8,9) - where I used that to make a feeling of jump, but that is not necessary here because the rhythm is more plain.

It would be also a waste of opportunity if I would delete both finishers just for following a rather unsignificant 3/4 sound since the they give a good contrast to the whole section while the alternation of them is very fitting to the song.

about the Muzu, all I can suggest is to go for the 1/2 beats in the song in those sections in the kiai
like at 00:47:074 (2) - it already kinda hints that the music has changed slightly as they already added a beat in the song at 00:47:174 -
so I would say for 00:53:874 (2) - 00:57:074 (11) - have beats at 00:53:774 - 00:53:974 - 00:56:974 - and 00:57:174

I tried this now a few times but what you suggest is not exactly the way the beats go. It brought me however to the actual way it goes: 00:53:574 - contains ddd d d x kkk while 00:56:774 - goes with a ddd x d d kkk and would be the more exact way to follow it up. So your guess was not wrong. However, the 3/4 are so dominant in the previous sections that playing any alternation of these is more likely to be awkward than just keeping the rhythm consistent. After all, after 5 full stanzas, you get used to this setup, so having another rhythm rather breaks the consistency here which I would rather not like to do.

consider giant sliderart starting from 01:53:774 - like you did for 01:04:374 (1) - , i think that would suit the map way better

Hi, I think the spinner in Hard difficulty is too soon, however, I think it can be fixed really really really easily without even remaking any pattern that much different. Basically I recommend you end the spinner on 01:55:174 - then you move this slider: 01:55:774 (1) - on 01:55:574 - CTRL+G the slider and make it repeat one time and rehitsound it a little bit and it's going to look like this: *CLICKIE* Everyone is going to be pretty happy with this solution as it won't change the pattern too much yet the issue is going to be removed.
