Better Reporting System

This is a feature request. Feature requests can be voted up by supporters.

osureport hardly gets used.

Forum reporting feels useless

Ingame reporting you get silenced for reporting too many cheaters.

I think it would be best to get rid off all the report systems and combine them into one.

Offcourse it does say that but its pretty much bullshit.

Why do you think that combining report systems would fix this problem? Just because there is only one system to check doesn’t mean that it will be checked any more often than the current ones are. There is no dedicated staff to checking reports, so the team that does needs to manage their priorities. And cheating in a single player game where it does not effect other users ability to play the game is not the highest thing on their list

Fair point, maybe just get rid of osureport Reddit tab, having the community voting on users fate isn't a good idea. This shouldn't be the problem anyways, they should just process reports when received instead of ignoring.

/r/osureport is outside the platform and probably not always checked by the administrative team.

Because you're just causing ruckus in chat. Also !report command exists for users to report inappropriate behavior.

There are some things that are kept classified for reasons so they aren't combined.



You can also report directly to the administrative team via support@ppy.sh

-) osureport is a third-party service that is not directly related or supported by the support.
-) if you reported someone in the forum (e.g. leaderboards), this may take a while and is not affected by the moderator team so any changes in this cases is near zero.
