Medal farming is sooo slow x.x done the Black Rose Apostle/Flight of the Bumblebee method (which is faster?) on the ghosthouse minigame for around 20 times and only gained like what, 300 medals?

Ugh 2000 (and eventually 9999) is going to take a HORRID long time. Only have enough for NECOLOGY atm.

Ran out of dojo tasks but I only have daily #3. Golded all so far except the Punishment one, can't get above 290 perfect hits for some reason. My current rank is Taiko Plasma. What are the reqs of the rest of the Tatsujin/Unagi challenges?

90k don counter so far. Currently clearing muzukashii/futsuu/kantan for don count, clears and play count. Already have all Onis cleared so far. As a side note, idk if it's just my game but the go-go time on Beethoven Symphony #7 is screwed up for me on Oni. It starts a beat late...

To be honest I like the lack of a story in this game, it throws you right in the action which the series should always have been like. Some games just make unnecessarily weird plotholes (looking at you DS3 rpg). I admit boss fights were fun, and Wii2 had the best of the bunch.

Chances are the CPUs won't miss the first note and all three of them will come first. 22 medals! Also, yep, Go-Go Time bug exists in this game for certain songs.

I may try to do an FAQ for the RPG mode of Taiko DS3 if there are enough requests, but if you want to go to the top right part of the map, wear the grey hair given to you by the lady after beating the Tenyou no Mai boss, then talk to the miner blocking your way to the top part. Are there any letters for amount of gold crowns you get? There's 100 and 200 golds in the last Wii game, but this one lacks regular crowns, only playcount. Do you get anything for clearing all songs on all difficulties?

Only songs I'm missing left are Doom Noiz and Joubutsu 2000. Damn playcount x.x

If is for that, Black Rose Apostle regular is MORE similar to Punishment; the long part before the 2nd slowdown has hepeated several times the kiai time of 9mm Parabellum Bullet's song XD

The first part of BRA Ura is similar to Ryougen, the rest is a combination of KitaSai and Punishment.

Only the first half is really similar to Ryougen/Kita/Punishment though...

Doom Noiz > Black Rose Apostle (ura) > Hataraku2000 (only because I played that to death) > In The Zone > Black Rose Apostle.

Rokodo made pages for everyone who's submitted maps before and user accounts for anyone who wants to submit to that list so I won't have to do all the updating work all the time. Some pages of custom maps are blank because that user hasn't been updating his page.

I did that. But during the second wave where a LOT of those two-eyed monsters pop out (which are very strong btw), the damn CPUs sometimes don't even try killing them off. Usually this leaves me with very low health at the boss, which attacks really fast...

Oh well keep trying I guess.

EDIT: Unlocked Joubutsu. Sounds an awful like Kechadon to me... with Kita-fied notes. Actually a lot of the sections resemble other 2000s and even other god songs o.o

@ aqua: What control scheme did you use to pass it? I Classic Controller'd Joubutsu and had around 80 misses, but still failed ;_;

2.) I am ripping my hair off right now. I could swear the PSP is really not the console to be playing PNM on. Fucking shoulder buttons. Aside from that, I actually accidentally discovered EX diff., and I was like "WTF THERE'S SOMETHING HARDER THAN 9H?!", so I took a peek, and my reaction can be described in one word: fuck. I think I'd have to sell one of my stronger souls for this like I sold my soul to Taiko, what the shit.
3.) 10 misses on Metal Hawk BGM1. Wasn't able to screenshot it and it's still not my highest score though, but hey, it's a massive improvement. Yes I've been playing Taiko while I was idling on the trip too.

5.) I'm not sure but I think I found a really old PNM machine just to the right of the modified Taiko AC4 (with TDM software) machine in our biggest arcade. Coincidentally the positioning of those machines make you scream 76573. Poor Taiko machine is surrounded by other old 573 machines though.

Most of the stuff is fanart from Pixiv,but it has some official artwork too.

EDIT:Quick hint,in PnM speed multipliers are your friend.Since notes in PnM tend to be quite clustered,
using Hi-speed (1.5-4.0) makes it much easier to read notes.(especially with low-BPM songs like those composed by Nekomata MASTER)

Zekira did you unlock Joubutsu yet? That will surely make your classic controller break...

I wish the L and R buttons aren't so clunky on the cc. Makes fcing songs way harder than it looks.

@crystal: I naturally use HS2.0 for every 573 game, which is going well. I didn't even need to bother with HS1.0 except that one composition of Tomosuke which they intentionally put it as 290 BPM and not 145 BPM. EDIT: ...I don't think I want to know, but is there actually a PnM chart that requires you to press 7 buttons simultaneously at an interval of 1/4 (1/16 in normal music terms) for the notes before and after? I really think it's just fucking impossible to press more than 3 buttons on the PSP simultaneously ._. God .-.

@PC: not yet, haven't been touching Wii3 lately so I don't have Doom Noiz and Joubutsu Nisen yet. I actually don't use the shoulder buttons; I use X and Right as my Don and Y and Up as my Katsu. I have never used shoulder buttons for any music game I've played, actually (except maybe now that I'm playing something that needs it). My thumbs' been trained to endure only the most impossible stunts ever since I was 5, so that's 12 years of thumbrape.

I don't know about you but coordinating four fingers (thumbs on the pad, index fingers on the shoulder buttons) is impossible. Zekira quickly unlock those two songs so we can see you FC them Also you still owe me a few song recordings.

@crystal: Actually, I do not play 573[DAMN GIVE DEATH NOTE GARR!!!] games but I use HS3 on Stepmania orz

Ehh? I'm exactly that kind of Taiko player XD I find that coordinating four fingers actually works better for me, because my thumbs gets less tiring and note combinations are easier to perform this way IMO.

Speaking of which, I passed Joubutsu2000 today. If it wasn't for the clunky L/R buttons I would have been able to do this much earlier >_>

My thumbs' been trained to endure only the most impossible stunts ever since I was 5, so that's 12 years of thumbrape.

11. Black Rose Apostle (Ura)

Because apparently Joubutsu is that hard

Mainly because I can't even hear the fucking music. It's not a god song for its chart though, so I'll probably classify it as a gimmick song due to being a bad pick for a rhythm game. This is one prime example of a song you do NOT use for rhythm games.

Well the off-rhythm beats aren't as much of a problem as I expected them to be (except for the fact that I am getting the largest white-hit counts I have ever made)... it's probably the speed + patterns trap that K.Sai2000 employs as well, although this time it's just a whole lot more chaotic. Deathstreams, doubled BPM, off-rhythm notes, and the fact that if you understand Japanese that the song itself is scary... how the fuck do you make a harder song than this?

As for the god songs discussion, I think there are more than 4 god songs now... the amount of hard songs in this game is just blah.

My order would be something like this...
1. Joubutsu (duh)
2. Kita (this one took me the most tries... though definitely not as hard as it used to be)
3. Ryougen
4. Black Rose Apostle ura
5. Rotter Tarmination ura
6. Hataraku

In fact there are other non god songs that still strike out as tough to me... honorable mentions are Doom Noiz, Kagekiyo ura (everyone seemed to forget about that), and Etude Op. 10-4 ura. Can't think of any other ones at the moment.

And Zekira try fullcomboing the song...

I kinda want to, but don't want to at the same time.

As for those that aquabluu mentioned a long time ago...

- Sora 4 is unlikely to be that hard.
- the last dojo task has part of the notes of Taiko Time ura, and since it looks a lot like regular, doubt it.
- Arumujika is the easiest to FC out of the 4 ac songs imo.
- Hikari is copypasted.
- Shimedore 2000 is the only one I have no clue with. But based on careful observation of Joubutsu maybe that IS Shimedore...

Since Joubutsu is there we don't have to axe two songs, as Joubutsu is on a whole new difficulty of hard.

I was actually considering OOdain, Make Inu Henjou or Sanpo ura (one of the three) to be the gimmick song for this (much like Mori no Kumasan ura), but seeing how it created so much frustration first time I just thought forget it.

Bolded means the order that I thought it should be put as. Kind of a hard time deciding whether Etude or Doom Noiz is harder though...

(am I the only one who can't pass Joubutsu with higher than 500k pts? ;_; )

Easy.Throw the chart into another rhythm game that supports multi-hit notes,
then start adding crazy multi-hits.
