Most of the stuff is fanart from Pixiv,but it has some official artwork too.

EDIT:Quick hint,in PnM speed multipliers are your friend.Since notes in PnM tend to be quite clustered,
using Hi-speed (1.5-4.0) makes it much easier to read notes.(especially with low-BPM songs like those composed by Nekomata MASTER)

I wish the L and R buttons aren't so clunky on the cc. Makes fcing songs way harder than it looks.

@crystal: I naturally use HS2.0 for every 573 game, which is going well. I didn't even need to bother with HS1.0 except that one composition of Tomosuke which they intentionally put it as 290 BPM and not 145 BPM. EDIT: ...I don't think I want to know, but is there actually a PnM chart that requires you to press 7 buttons simultaneously at an interval of 1/4 (1/16 in normal music terms) for the notes before and after? I really think it's just fucking impossible to press more than 3 buttons on the PSP simultaneously ._. God .-.

@PC: not yet, haven't been touching Wii3 lately so I don't have Doom Noiz and Joubutsu Nisen yet. I actually don't use the shoulder buttons; I use X and Right as my Don and Y and Up as my Katsu. I have never used shoulder buttons for any music game I've played, actually (except maybe now that I'm playing something that needs it). My thumbs' been trained to endure only the most impossible stunts ever since I was 5, so that's 12 years of thumbrape.

I don't know about you but coordinating four fingers (thumbs on the pad, index fingers on the shoulder buttons) is impossible. Zekira quickly unlock those two songs so we can see you FC them :D Also you still owe me a few song recordings.

Atm I'm in Japan and I played much times Taiko arcarde.
But I also have want to play songs like Ekiben or Rotter Termination on Mutsukashii in the old arcarde versions.
I didn't found any, so I have want to ask you, do you maybe know where I can find the old versions in Nagasaki and Tokyo? Is it possible to play the old versions? And when I can get a Oni mode? T_T
I allready played songs like Lucky Star on mutsukashii with fc. > <

Old arcade versions are usually replaced with newer ones right away when they're released, but I haven't been to Japan so I don't know that...As for Oni mode, go to Muzukashii and tap the right kat ten times.

Ehh? I'm exactly that kind of Taiko player XD I find that coordinating four fingers actually works better for me, because my thumbs gets less tiring and note combinations are easier to perform this way IMO.

Speaking of which, I passed Joubutsu2000 today. If it wasn't for the clunky L/R buttons I would have been able to do this much earlier >_>

Time for 9999 medals! I don't get why Namco gives you hitsounds as rewards but meh.

@OnosakiHito: Rotter Tarmination is on regular 12 arcade as well.

Side note: In Nanadaime the name required to activate Doron is actually Doron, not Master.
Really? All the sources I've been to said it was 'Master'. Can you confirm it?

Actually I'm not sure if it's really "doron" or not, but people have also said that Master doesn't work on 7. Not entirely sure but that's what they implied.

It does seem plausible too seeing that Nanadaime also added/changed codes... don't take my word for it though.

Tomosuke's work,with a BPM of around 290?That'll be 明鏡止水,diffs 22 / 36 / 40 (N/H/EX)
As for the other question...I'm not sure,since I don't watch a lot of gameplay vids for PnM OTL

4.) Concerning the four fingers... well, there are some games where I use six fingers on, but they aren't rhythm games, such as when I'm doing Devil May Cry 3 combo videos since you really need to use all the buttons anyway. But on rhythm games, I just don't see myself using anything other than my thumbs

And it is great fun knowing you guys!TBH,you guys are my closest taiko pals <3 (I usually just lurk in other taiko-related forums)
I hope I can stick around in here for years to come!

Taiko's still going to be my most fave rhythm game,even though I play other games like Jubeat and Pop'n Music.
IDK why,but I kinda feel that Taiko's got something special that sets it apart from other rhythm games.I can't
put a finger on it,but it does.

My new year agenda...?Hmmm..
1.Work hard in my schoolwork.Form 6 and 7 is going to be a tough ride,so I gonna work hard.
2.Try to improve my rhythm game skills (if I have any at all) That goes with all the rhythm games I've played so far.

Mainly because I can't even hear the fucking music. It's not a god song for its chart though, so I'll probably classify it as a gimmick song due to being a bad pick for a rhythm game. This is one prime example of a song you do NOT use for rhythm games.

So that'd make it

1. Joubutsu2000
10. Ryougen no Mai
11. KitaSaitama2000
12. Black Rose Apostle (Ura)

Well the off-rhythm beats aren't as much of a problem as I expected them to be (except for the fact that I am getting the largest white-hit counts I have ever made)... it's probably the speed + patterns trap that K.Sai2000 employs as well, although this time it's just a whole lot more chaotic. Deathstreams, doubled BPM, off-rhythm notes, and the fact that if you understand Japanese that the song itself is scary... how the fuck do you make a harder song than this?

As for the god songs discussion, I think there are more than 4 god songs now... the amount of hard songs in this game is just blah.

My order would be something like this...
1. Joubutsu (duh)
2. Kita (this one took me the most tries... though definitely not as hard as it used to be)
3. Ryougen
4. Black Rose Apostle ura
5. Rotter Tarmination ura
6. Hataraku

In fact there are other non god songs that still strike out as tough to me... honorable mentions are Doom Noiz, Kagekiyo ura (everyone seemed to forget about that), and Etude Op. 10-4 ura. Can't think of any other ones at the moment.

And Zekira try fullcomboing the song...

Now that I think about it, this has got to go out the list of god songs IMO.

Actually I never imagined the day that I would find a chart that's harder than Kita Saitama2000... it came in the form of Joubutsu though, lol. As said, I find K.Sai to be the hardest shit ever, until Joubutsu came out that is

Kagekiyo ura (everyone seemed to forget about that)
It doesn't seem as chaotic as No Way Back (Ura) though.

I think we have enough songs for a 3rd...I mean up the top of my head I can already think of 12 songs worthy for 3.

As for those that aquabluu mentioned a long time ago...

- Sora 4 is unlikely to be that hard.
- the last dojo task has part of the notes of Taiko Time ura, and since it looks a lot like regular, doubt it.
- Arumujika is the easiest to FC out of the 4 ac songs imo.
- Hikari is copypasted.
- Shimedore 2000 is the only one I have no clue with. But based on careful observation of Joubutsu maybe that IS Shimedore...

Jigoku no Daiou needs to go, easiest to FC out of the bunch.

Metal Hawk I'm not sure about, on one hand it's easy to pass but on the other there's that crazy 1/6 section...

Should wait till Taiko Time ura comes out. Like Apostle, you can include both regular and ura in one trial.

Since Joubutsu is there we don't have to axe two songs, as Joubutsu is on a whole new difficulty of hard.

I was actually considering OOdain, Make Inu Henjou or Sanpo ura (one of the three) to be the gimmick song for this (much like Mori no Kumasan ura), but seeing how it created so much frustration first time I just thought forget it.

Bolded means the order that I thought it should be put as. Kind of a hard time deciding whether Etude or Doom Noiz is harder though...

(am I the only one who can't pass Joubutsu with higher than 500k pts? ;_; )

Unrelated, is Taiko Wikihouse down? I can't seem to access it.

Easy.Throw the chart into another rhythm game that supports multi-hit notes,
then start adding crazy multi-hits.

Once again,what's with you guys and the whole only-4-god-songs rule?
We can probably just go for a 段位皆傳 thing or start using post-DistorteD extra stages.
Or go for pokemans.Frontier brains,Red,gym leaders...stuff like that.

It's....weird.Somehow it sounds creepy.Not the fridge horror kind like Joubutsu,but still...creepy.

No Way Back (Ura) is not such a good map than other one. Would you like to take this one? I prefer Tank! (Ura) better than NWB.

And of course, Oodain is also a better choice for its big notes.

EDIT: Kinda off-topic, but can anyone give me a headstart on this: I'm planning to mix 2 songs together, and obviously I need an audio editing software for that. I'm thinking of getting Cubase just for this but I'm not sure if that'll do the trick. An audio software that has BPM recognition will come very handy, but it isn't required. I just want to mashup two songs.

GoldWave lets you mix songs together, buy you have to pay for it. Otherwise you get a 1,500 command trial version (use 1500 commands and the trial ends)

Oh my god I just noticed that too...

Either DS3 was already in development before/during Wii2 or they were actually planning on putting the story mode on the Wii version instead. But if they really are, the MP3 above sounds really really broken... I can hear bits and pieces of songs but most of it is just warping sounds over and over again...

1stpai... start of a new god song series? Maybe "last2k" is true after all.

The song I posted is actually the entire 1STPAI played in reverse. The point is to be able to hear what the reverse part sounds like when played in the correct order, without Wrath of Requiem playing in the back.

I beat all of them gold except that and the 中堅 challenge (silver'd), and am still missing a few daily dojo challenges.

EDIT: I just realized, Linda AI-CUE made Doom Noiz as well. Maybe he got tired of making the 2000 series music and decided to go make music for Galaga Legions instead. Probably also why this sounds so similar to Joubutsu at go-go time...

I don't think he will be leaving Namco though, that's for sure.

Is it not possible that... DS3's development was already underway much, much before Wii2? Because of the footsteps SFX, I'm inferring that this may have possibly been planned as one of the animations that happen when you turn off the light in the room... But got scraped off later on for it's length or something or what?

Hey, it's possible right? '1ST' may refer to 'first', which can possibly be a prototype of a DS3 gimmick or w/e...?

As for First Pie,I don't think there are owata maps of it.
People usually map songs from animu/touhou/H-games/BEMANI/what have you.
Sides,I think TaikoJiro's much more popular than owatatsujin.

I think Joubutsu IS the Shimedore 2000 of the series.
- Listen to the song. It's very Kechadon-like.
- Forced Tatsujin notes = obvious Soroban.

Actually you do get break time, it's that one bit where the map suddenly turns to Normal notes where there are no notes present. It only lasts 2 bars but in a song like Joubutsu I would be happy to get any amount of rest time at all. >_>

Your vid is similar to my attempt with classic controller actually (screwup areas, two bars past clear point, perfect/ok note counts), except I can't get high combo counts in the song XD leaves me with a measly 490k ._.

As for 0:46-0:49 I can do the 1/3 part but keep screwing up on the 1/6's... seriously this isn't hitting the notes, it's literally MASHING them. Like I said earlier the rate you hit these notes is actually slightly more intense than Hataraku's 1/8 notes, making them way too hard to hit.

I bet no one can 999 perfect (not just FC) this song.
