  1. The spacing used throughout the section at 00:57:386 - is quite misleading. You are spacing out 3/4 rhythms the exact same as 1/4 rhythms. For example, the rhythm you map on every repeat of the current phrase is this 00:57:387 (1,2) - , a 1/2 slider leading into a circle a 1/4 beat away, spaced out at 1.6 DS. But then. about a measure later, you space out a 3/4 slider to circle with the same distance snap. This is very confusing to read, and I'd just space out the 1/2 slider to circle a bit more. This can be found in the following sections:
    00:59:739 (1,2,1,2) -
    01:02:093 (1,2,1,2) -
    01:04:445 (1,2,1,2) -
  2. 01:25:622 (1,2) - It triggers me that the second slider of this part doesn't line up with the curve of the first one, here's a suggestion on how to fix it and not risk the stack, but add another.
    01:24:592 (1,2,3) - Move this to X:99 Y:179.
    01:25:033 (5) - Move this to X:134 Y:102.
    01:25:475 (8) - Move this to X:44 Y:115.
    01:25:916 (2) - Move this so it stacks under 01:25:033 (5) - and 01:25:475 (8) - .
  3. 01:49:740 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - These patterns feel very linear, as opposed to the sharp jumps that you've incorporated throughout the section. Messing with ctrl+g or just redoing the patterns would to the trick.
  4. 01:53:269 (6) - I don't think this slider is very warranted since there's quite a strong synth sound landing on the end of it. Turning this into a 2 circle jump with the second circle placed at X:0 Y:257.
  5. 02:23:269 (1,2,3,4) - I think this would play better if you ctrl+g'd 02:23:563 (2) - and ctrl+j'd 02:23:857 (3) - , then restacking it on the end of 02:23:269 (1) - .
  6. 02:32:093 (1,2) - I think softening these sharp curves would be a bit more aesthetically pleasing.
  7. 02:34:446 (1,2) - I strongly believe that a jump this big isn't necessary, please nerf this. :c
  8. I think slowing down 03:20:328 (4) - is warranted do to the growl in the background.
  9. 03:22:681 (5) - ^
  10. 05:25:034 (1,2,3,4,5) - I don't think you can justify a jumpstream when it's first used at 94% into the map, please space out 05:25:254 (4,5) - the same as the rest of the stream.
  11. 05:31:651 (1,2) - What a sudden spacing decrease D:, I'd space out 05:31:799 (2) - a bit more.
  12. 05:32:093 (1,2,1,2) - I think it'd be nice if you kept the up-down flow throughout this by ctrl+g'ing 05:32:681 (1) - and 05:32:975 (2) - .
  13. 05:34:666 (4,5) - Same as what I said above about the jumpstream.

General Thoughts

Nice map and song! I'm liking the wub approach you guys took with this :D, I only have some beef with one thing though. There's a section of the map where the spacing increases, decreases, slider speed, and overall flow feel so sudden and arbitrary to the point where it's almost bipolar. This section is 04:24:446 (1) - . 04:26:651 (1,2,3,4,1) - You have super slow sliders, a big jump, and super slow sliders right after it, even though the music doesn't have the energy to support such things. Other examples are 04:30:475 (2,1,2,1,2,1,1) - , 04:31:799 (2,3,4,1) - , and many, many more that you should keep an eye out. I'd love to see this ranked though! Quite the interesting map, gratz to all the collabers.
.
Good luck!

[*]02:32:093 (1,2) - I think softening these sharp curves would be a bit more aesthetically pleasing. O_O How is it aesthetically unpleasing?
[*]02:34:446 (1,2) - I strongly believe that a jump this big isn't necessary, please nerf this. :c I disagree with you because let me explain my logic: First you have a low emphasized pattern (according to the song) 02:32:093 (1,2) - , then a higher pitched one 02:34:446 (1,2) - . I think the symmetry is a good choice here, as well as the spacing. It repeats 02:36:799 (1,2) - and 02:39:151 (1,2) - .
Thx nevertheless!

didn't this have like a mania diff???

way to go against old boring taiko diff names!!

overall i think you're missing on many opportunities to map stuff and made this super easy for whatever reason but i guess i'll respect that?
01:17:975 (10) - feels much better as a don Remain unchanged to follow the prominent snare there.
01:22:681 (35) - etc. same as ^
01:27:387 (62) - aaa ^
01:30:181 (80) - s Retained for pattern consistency as 01:20:769 (25) -
well you mapped the entire part like this im not entirely sure what you're following
03:39:739 - map please lol I would prefer leaving a break here to accompany the pause of the vocal-like sound (i.e. 03:39:445 to 03:40:033 - ).
03:44:445 - good heavens same as ^

ok overall looks acceptable but at the same time i think it is supposed to be much more, the map is (i'll be blunt) kinda boring for the major part of the time as per trying to follow the beat too accurately without "overmapping" and look how i do inverted commas because that's more or less how taiko works but i guess many of the mappers here are used to standard mapping and that concept makes them afraid or something D:

we can discuss more in pm if you want
Thanks for your mod~ :)

This can be found in the following sections: Made a compromise here by lowering most of the 3/4 spacings, 00:59:151 (1) - is still quite easy to read also because of it recurring everytime and being slowed down
  2. 02:23:269 (1,2,3,4) - I think this would play better if you ctrl+g'd 02:23:563 (2) - and ctrl+j'd 02:23:857 (3) - , then restacking it on the end of 02:23:269 (1) - . I prefer having the descendent flow 02:23:857 (3,4) - corresponding to the pitches there
Thanks!

changed what you wanted a bit differently without moving 15 objects or so but the slider now does what you wanted i guess, and did a minor change to 2 other patterns in my section, thanks!!

  1. 01:49:740 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5) - These patterns feel very linear, as opposed to the sharp jumps that you've incorporated throughout the section. Messing with ctrl+g or just redoing the patterns would to the trick. I shifted positions here and there
  2. 01:53:269 (6) - I don't think this slider is very warranted since there's quite a strong synth sound landing on the end of it. Turning this into a 2 circle jump with the second circle placed at X:0 Y:257. I don't really agree with having a jump here, it still continues the slower dragging of the music beforehand
  3. I think slowing down 03:20:328 (4) - is warranted do to the growl in the background. slowed this one slightly, but I don't think the one below feels the same as this
  4. 03:22:681 (5) - ^

Quite the interesting map, gratz to all the collabers.
.
Good luck!

Thanks~

first section should have like really lower volume, even if in taiko the hitsounds must be audible they totally overpower the song lol 60-70% would be ok lowered volume
01:15:328 (111) - i wonder the purpose of this slider? usually it's used on long ass drumrolls on lowest difficulties or long guitar strings but there isn't any here o.o it'd be just fine to map the white ticks as big notes or something used big notes
04:19:004 (21) - i think deleting this makes the doublet represent the song much better deleted
04:23:563 (47) - in any case you should start the slider at 04:23:268 - otherwise i'd just map the white ticks :( removed slider
added some notes in 05:02:102 - 05:20:925
05:17:974 (91,92) - besides representing better the melody it'd fit the snare and bass drum hit at the same time by ctrl+g ok
05:19:445 - and 05:19:641 - ayyy you can map those come on! k

00:03:170 - i hear a really faint note here you may wanna map it no~ I prefer now
00:17:485 (1) - since the purpose of the spinner was to represent the held note it'd be better if you ended it at 00:18:121 - and added notes at 00:18:268 - and 00:18:465 - hmm it's better now to me, I only wanna follow the vocal here~

ADN's sections:

  • 1 - 00:19:749 - 00:38:572-
00:38:416 - Is possible change this note to k? The sound effect here is the same as 00:38:122 - , so it would make more sense to use d.

01:25:474 - Change this note to d ... have same sound as previous note. (yeah, I know have combination with "bass" sound here, but not nessesary a emphasis why next note have these emphasis). The pitch becomes progressively lower among 01:25:034 (47,48,49,50) - , that's why I used d there.
    01:34:886 - Same ^ same as ^

    3 - 01:53:866 - 02:12:690-
02:00:817 - Is possible change to k? ... here have same sound as next note and for variety. Nope, the pitch trend is actually similar to 02:00:524 (35,36) -
    02:12:288 (94,95) - a ctrl+g (?) Retained for snare consistency.

    4 - 03:27:984 - 03:46:808-

Edit: The beats at 05:25:033 and 05:34:445 - should be 1/4 but not 1/3, so I decided to nullify the changes mentioned above.

01:00:181 (2,1,2,3) - consider something like http://puu.sh/ufpcv/31b57a9184.jpg

01:02:093 (1,2,1,2,3) - follow what you did here 00:57:387 (1) - , ctrl+g 01:02:681 (1,2,3) - and readjust?

01:52:387 (3) - ctrl+g maybe better to emphasise sound at 01:52:680

02:34:151 (2,3) - stack like what you normally do

02:44:004 (2,3) - maybe reduce jump spacing? don't hear anything

02:45:181 (5) - change to 1/4 slider? sounds better

03:19:593 (6) - nc this one instead? might make it easier to read the 123 123 pattern, also this 03:21:946 (6) -

03:56:798 (2) - easy to misread as 1/4 especially with previous slider also obstructing

05:01:504 (2,3) - just use regular 1/3 circles? you never did this previously

05:25:254 - missing 1/4? 05:34:445 (1,2,3,4) - ohh. just make 05:25:180 (3) - 1/4 slider I guess

05:28:563 (1,2,3,4) - why're you suddenly stacking them

00:36:210 (1,2,3,4) - all your previous patterns on this melody just flowed in one direction except for this one the pattern used is more about the constant spacing for the 4 notes in these patterns, then it goes for a wider pattern after, and repeat

00:42:240 (1) - stack with 00:41:946 (2) - ? also this 00:46:946 (1) - and multiple others it alternates from stacking the first one and not the one coming after it, and then repeating that pattern

00:53:269 (1) - why a weird slidershape with red anchors here randomly like the other sliders, it is to emphasize the song there

01:52:387 (3) - ctrl+g maybe better to emphasise sound at 01:52:680 I changed the slider completely

03:19:593 (6) - nc this one instead? might make it easier to read the 123 123 pattern, also this 03:21:946 (6) - ok

05:01:504 (2,3) - just use regular 1/3 circles? you never did this previously only occurs in 2 parts, I find using the slider here better suited for my part, which is less clicking intensive

  1. In my opinion OD 8 is quite low, 8,5 should be better.

Anima:
  1. 00:20:328 (1,2,3) - , 00:22:680 (1,2,3) - , 00:25:034 (1,2,3) - , 00:27:387 (1,2,3) - , etc etc. : I would recommend you to leave aside the synthesizer intensity and map some 1/4 sliders for the ''wub'' sounds so these circle only parts can be less monotonous.
  2. 00:28:563 (1) - , 00:37:975 (1) - , 00:47:387 (1) - : Comparing the other 1/4 reverse sliders, I don't hear any vibrations on these.Sliders would sound better in my opinion.
  3. 00:38:563 (1,2) - , 00:40:034 (2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2) - , 00:43:269 (1,2) - , 00:44:740 (2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2) - , 00:47:975 (1,2) - , 00:50:328 (1,2) - , 00:52:680 (1,2) - , 00:54:151 (2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2) - : I expected you to map sliders like you do at 00:49:446 (2,1,2) - .I would recommend you to focus the vocals since the first part of the kiai didn't have any, so the parts can be separated rhythmically from each other to ignore monotonicity.
  4. 01:18:857 (2) - : Add NC for the SV change?Same with 01:32:975 (2) - , 01:35:034 (1) - , 01:37:681 (2) - , 01:40:034 (2) - , 01:42:387 (2) - , 01:44:740 (2) - , 01:47:093 (2) - , 01:49:446 (2) - ,
  5. 02:00:818 (1,2) - : Switch NCs?Same with 02:03:171 (1,2) - , 02:04:348 (1,2) - , 02:10:230 (1,2) - etc etc.
  6. 02:15:328 (2) - : Slider tail stack is off a bit.Same with 02:16:210 (1) -
  7. 02:06:799 (5) - : Add NC?
  8. 03:09:740 (3,4) - : Ctrl + G sounds better in my opinion.
  9. 03:24:151 (3) - : I think it would be more comfortable if you space this out instead of bringing the motion back in the centre, try for example x:484 & y:340.It's more natural motion in my opinion.
  10. 03:27:387 (3) - : Add NC?
  11. 03:41:063 (2,3) - : Ctrl + G sounds better in my opinion.
  12. 04:10:622 (2) - : NC?Same with 04:12:975 (2) - etc etc.

Sorry for the useless mod, I'm not so good in modding this type of maps.I wish you best of luck!~

hi
00:23:857 (1) - should be 1/3 if you're mapping to the melody
00:42:681 (1) - same with this, etc.
00:43:269 (1,2,3,4) - keep constant DS? You've been keeping it constant for the past few patterns
01:15:622 (1,1) - mind if u make them parallel im a bit tilted
01:20:622 (6,1) - dont overlap thx
01:20:916 (1,2) - blanket
01:21:651 (4,5) - use same slider?
01:22:240 (1,2,3,4,5) - is it me or is this star autistic
01:51:504 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - rhythm is pretty confusing here, better just go with time-distance equality if not people'll start breaking here XD, or just stack em
my god 2 years ago map also so clean ;v
02:45:034 (3) - going by your NC patterning, this should be NCed too
03:08:857 (3) - NC like how u did on 00:57:093 (1) -
03:47:974 (1,1) - pls silence sliderend XD
04:31:357 (1) - 04:36:063 (1) - questionable slider imo, sliderhead doesn't land on anything big, the slow zzzzzzz sound thing is on 04:31:504 - .mapping to the vocals here would be slightly off since you've been mapping to the main melody since this part started
04:30:475 (2,1,2,1,2,1) - idk why this was spam NCed while 04:33:122 (2,3,4,5) - wasn't, it feels like the 2nd one has much more emphasis, and the sounds there are the ones you did NC on previous parts.
05:01:504 (2) - I think its best to just change this to notes since it plays better imo. something like what u did 05:14:446 (3,4) -

damn i suck at modding
