Preview point is messed up, but peppy says that it just needs time for the cache to clear, so I'll wait and see. After a month and a half, still hasn't changed, but peppy says the cache automatically clears when ranked, so hopefully that should fix it.

I like the 2/1 sliders too much to get rid of them, so instead I changed the prior section with the drums to not make the players expectations too high.

00:42:669 (3,4,1) - i feel like these 1/1 jumps are pretty uncomfortable, they could be smaller spacing and still not be hard to read cuz of how clear the song structure is. atm it's a total pain to hit them cuz of the precision needed

5mb for four backgrounds? uhh, you should really convert these to jpg and compress them. This really shouldn't be taking more than a mb or two at most. If you need help with that just lemme know ovob

Maybe set different combo colours for each difficulty? the main colors are fairly different in each background, so having a different set of combocolours per diff could better help them feel fitting and match well

01:29:961 (1,4) - 4 ends right under 1 but honestly the positioning for these is still a bit odd since you dont really do any similar overlaps throughout the difficulty and leads to this pattern feeling unusually.. cramped?
02:15:323 (2,3) - I dont see a particular reason this isnt stacked, unlike all previous repetitions of this rhythm where you did stack the objects.

tbh the rabbit bg feels out of place compared to the others, like weirdly cartoony/flat

00:20:712 (1) - also it leaves you without anything to make a cute slidershape to like in the lower two diffs? q_q

i especially like how 00:47:495 - this section had a lot of patterns wrapping back in on themselves, was nice.
though I feel like the angled slider shape got a bit repetitive, especially at times like 00:53:286 (5) - when the vocals do a really heavy vibrato, but the shape remains exactly the same. I think it'd be neat if you could differentiate these a bit by varying the shape, such as by adding curves.

01:58:916 (1,2) - CUTE

00:20:712 (1) - i still think it'd be cuter if you could find a way to have a cute slidershape here too,, but that's just me

00:47:495 - same thing as described in hard about the overly repetitive slidershape

Generally, I felt like Insane was a pretty big jump from hard :s I could do really well on hard, but struggled to pass insane.. idk, it's probably ok..

like 00:26:261 (1) - this one clearly has so much going on lol – I'm conflicted. They play nicely and bring out a nice detail of the song, but it looks odd. Maybe if I had mapped more around that mechanic I could make it work, but right now I'm feeling as if the cleaner slider is safer and nicer. Still, I'm gonna test it out and try to find some feedback on it. --- I may have become a bit too habituated to the slider design, but I think some wiggles would be good

Hello! NM from queue (Really don't have much to say about this map so no need to do M4M)
was a bit confused why ya have 2 diff of the same map but then I actually payed attention to the sliders...

Anyways I am modding the 1 with the wiggle sliders (its pretty fitting with the vocals c:)


  • Wiggles

    just bringing up suggestions (minor at that) since this map looks pretty cool
  1. 00:05:028 (1) - maybe bring the slider head down a slight bit for better flow here
  2. 00:33:983 (1,2) - I wasn't gone bring this up but then I look at the 2nd kiai with this 01:16:449 (1,2) -
    1st 1 is more uncomfortable for the hand and whilst the 2nd one isn't as harsh since it an easier time to go from 01:15:967 (4) - to 01:16:449 (1) - which makes a bigger difference between the two despite the two parts of the song being no different from the each other
  3. 00:47:495 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this whole entire section here feels repetitive clicking the same slider up until the point of the kiai and whilst telling from your mod from noffy - I do understand that you wish to follow the drum but it just still feel strange
    - Basically just saying that following noffy's suggestions about changing the slider shapes instead of sticking to the same 1 especially at times when the vocals should really be express would lighten up the section and less repetitive as it is now
  4. 01:18:380 (1) - move the slider head more towards the right for slightly better flow here
  5. 01:42:027 (2) - maybe turn this into at least 1/2 slider or something express the vocal since it holds out until around here 01:42:388 - and its pretty loud compare to the others notes around here?

    Looks pretty good but I do have to say you probably should increase the jumps on this difficulty since its too easy compare to how the insane jumps are pretty huge at times - other than that I wouldn't say you need to make a another difficulty


Ugh sucks having to rewrite a mod so a lot of my points were pretty summarize sorry since I lost my other mod for taking too long to write this

Btw - can ya used some color when responding to my mod atleast?
I couldn't even tell you were responding to those mods above at first and my eye sight is already bad man...

If you listen properly to the music, you can notice that vocals ends there, and it looks like you're following that because you started the slider in 00:20:712 - where vocals starts. In addition, this slider shape is not really neat for my eyes, you could try to make a symetric pattern taking as reference "y axis". I tried something like this, I'll give you a screenshot and a code in case you want to change that (that it's pretty necessary in my opinion). Btw, you can maybe find other shape, take that as an example but I'm giving you the code because you can like this shape.

- I have to say, I liked this difficulty. In general, I dislike the usage of 1/2 patterns in Easy difficulties but you used it properly without abuse them without sense, in addition the BPM is not high and you worked fine with that. I focused my mod in aesthetical issues, because as for the rest I'm pretty happy with this map, great job! :)

Nice difficulty here as well. The rhythm become a bit repetitive sometimes (for example in the section from 00:51:355 (1) - until 01:06:315 (6) - but in general the song is repetitive, that's why I didn't focus a lot in my mod in this point.

[Hard]

  2. 00:24:331 ~ 00:47:495 - I personally thinks some jumps can be reduced in this kiai section, if you compare it with the others you can notice this one is the calmest one, where instrumental are not acting really in a high pitch. I do agree having jumps 00:32:052 (1,2,3,4) - and 00:43:634 (1,2,3,4) - because vocals increased considerably but still they look excessive to me :/. I think some reduction here and there won't hurt for a better representation of the song.
- I have to say you represent well the song in term of jumps and stuff, but some of them are a bit excessive for the calm song. Maybe you can recheck the map by yourself and reduce a bit some jumps length if you find it necessary.

That's all! I modded Easy and Normal two days ago but I couldn't complete my mod yesterday due connections problems :c
In general the map is ok, but some jumps in Insane can be reconsidered. As for the rest, everything looks correct :D

Kind of like how I hate alternating maps; I can't change direction in ¼ time so it plays terribly to me, but that doesn't mean they are bad or unrankable, it means it's not for me and I should let the players who enjoy alternating maps evaluate them. That doesn't mean my map has perfect spacing, but I can't make use of this feedback. In what way does any one jump create pacing issues or not match the music? Telling me how a random jump actually made you feel and why that feeling was disconnected from the music is what I want to hear, even if it is personal to you. I can't improve your experience without understanding how you feel. Same with the visuals. Yes, polygonal shapes look good, but what about my patterns actually look bad? Can you give some details on what was disliked?
01:51:919 (2,3,4) - etc also some of these sound like 1/6s so 1/4 might not be correct – if ¼ is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I like the top of your tree because it's smaller, but that wouldn't retain the above idea. Also, Normal players have the background enabled, so I want to trace it over the other tree.

I'll think about it a bit more, but I'm not convinced I should weaken this.

@Sahuang, if you want, I tested a nerfed version of the Insane: http://puu.sh/yLszb/0971eacd73.osu . I originally believed that the pacing was a little bit too skewed in favor of the third kiai. This version tries to weaken the the third kiai to have a more consistent difficulty in the map. I ended up liking the original big DS better because the third kiai is stronger than the other two, and I like the increased challenge it had. However, if you need me to compromise on some of the intensity, I'd be willing to do something like this nerfed version.

i still dont get why you have such high 1/1 spacing in the calm part, it's pretty annoying. stuff like 00:54:251 (7,8) - could definitely be nerfed. as it stands the overall 1/1 spacing is so high that 01:00:524 (4) - which is supposedly way more emphasized feels the exact same.

01:36:476 (6,7) - 2 1/2 sliders would work wway better, the current thing feels awful cuz of how clearly delayed the vocal is. same for the next one. -- agreed that the vocals are really weird to follow and that the circle doesn't complement them. Changed to 3/2 slider like in Hard

i still dont get why you have such high 1/1 spacing in the calm part, it's pretty annoying. stuff like 00:54:251 (7,8) - could definitely be nerfed. as it stands the overall 1/1 spacing is so high that 01:00:524 (4) - which is supposedly way more emphasized feels the exact same. -- Yeah, I overlooked the DS in favor of nice positions, and I'm also biased towards big spacing. I agree that (7,8) should feel weaker than (8,1) and I've nerfed all these patterns to reflect that. 01:00:524 (4) - To me, this felt emphasized both before and after my changes

  1. 00:01:168 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - 00:05:028 (1,2,3,4) - 00:08:889 (1,2,3,4) - stuff like this will basically look like absolute trash everytime you try to freehand everything without knowing a lot more about mapping. these random sliders really dont serve much of a purpose, you might as well make them consistent like angular or symmetrical at least. the problem with this isnt remotely related to playability at all though, but i still think aesthetics play a big role in maps
  2. 01:33:822 (1,2,3,4) - this part looks random AF with the weird hitcircle placement. have never seen a square-ish pattern throughout the map this way, would suggest you change how it looks
  3. 01:49:988 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - 01:51:919 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - vs 01:07:522 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - 01:09:452 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - i prefer the latter solely because it looked as if it has some form of consistency. the stuff you mapped in the former looks like malformed 4sided polygons which really has no place in the map. would prefer any form of consistency or patterning instead of just slapping in random hitcircles like that

    i can't give you anything specific because your map looks like this. everything about your map is just pretty haphazard, like not much thought goes through your mind other than a beeping metronome. though i can't fault you for that, the song is pretty boring to map. i would really highly suggest you give your map a little more sprucing through neater patterns. otherwise its a really ok map.

    practically same as insane, just a lot easier. i really did like these parts of the kiai 00:24:331 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4) - because of the equal distancing which makes maps look a lot neater. 00:32:052 (1,2,3,4) - these bits still look really random though
yea the rest of the mapset is pretty generic. wont go further into details other than everything is just pretty messy and a little polishing will do it good
