Since the lowest rating you have given is a 5 you should reduce everything by ~3 points leaving some basement room for future terrible shows and then split your current 10/10 bracket into 8, 9 and 10's. Surely you look at the shows you have given 10 and think some clearly outclass others by a decent margin. The numbers mean nothing other than comparing to one another and having nearly half your list occupying the highest spot while not using half the numbers defeats the point of the ranking.Alverynn wrote:

When i looked at my list again, i rated all the Illya series to 10 just because of the lolis while the story didn't really caught my attention and yes it makes no sense just like what you saidGreen Platinum wrote:

Welp i've re-rated some of the 10s but the rest is just i find it hard to change the rating as i really enjoyed it so there's that.
You can "really enjoy" a show that doesn't have a 10 rating. You are just currently using an /5 rating scale instead of a /10 scale and it just cheapens the rest of your 10s. And it's not like you are really giving any consideration to technical skill when Koe no Katachi is your lowest score while Ass war sits with a 10 lol.Alverynn wrote:

If i'd rate Koe no Katachi technically it'd be an easy 8-10 range but i don't enjoy this kind of Anime (Drama to be exact), art is good, story was fine, sounds are okay, character not really, but the "Drama" alone made me not enjoying it thus made me to put it on 5.
True that I don't consider any technical things (and i know this isn't right) when I rate an Anime but yeah, I rate it for myself, I don't care even if it's a make-no-sense-mainstream story Anime with overloaded boring Fanservice I'd just rate it based on my enjoyment watching that.
